  • Testosterone isn't just to do with sex. It has major effects on the CNS and brain function which is why men tolerate stress better and are not emotional like women are. Actually the first thing noticeable with testosterone decline is not sex drive but actually problems with speech and breathing problems

So you speak for all men? copper is the emotional mineral search it up and zinc is the masculine mineral women accumulate more copper and men crave zinc (real men anyways) zinc is only concentrated in foods that male hunters ate the majority of meat, some fish. whereas copper is higher in plant and nuts that women gatherers ate. There is a clear distinction between men and women due to evolution.in hunting emotion dosent exist!

The reason for science and its existence is proof lol Don't you think a satellite navigation system is proof of quantum mechanics and Einstein's theory of relativity because if they were wrong you would not reach the location you intended. You seriously need to look into some real science / maths. And stop looking at that fake pseudoscience crap that wont get you anywhere.

  • @MrKurttaylor1 Thats right, now I take supps like the other contestants and my levels are the highest. I even give b12 shots to my meat eating friends that are deficient in b12. Ive learnt a LOT from 2007 regarding b12 and elite sporting requirements.

  • I boosted my testosterone by adding broccoli and brussel sprouts, plus putting hemp seed protein added to my fruit smoothie . In my mid 30s my level tested the same as 27 ! Having taken injectable testosterone to help heal a torn muscle from an armbar once , I can say testosterone is so important . It helps you heal faster have more energy and desire to train . I have discovered I can raise mine through certain foods and sleeping enough plus AVOIDING ALCHOHOL , which can have a huge impact .

  • Well I think almost everyone who gets into a vegan diet will have a drop in testosterone . This is temporary as you learn what exactly your body needs . Also people usually get flatulance , but its gone after the 3rd week . Sometimes people who have been vegan a long time forget the adjustment stage . It is often unpleasant , but the body will normalize and then start to thrive . It must be noted the difference between a PETA member living on potato chips and a healthy fruit and veg eater .

  • @TopNotchScience Running every other day for 20mins might be chronic OVER training for one person and chronic UNDERtraining for another.

    Ive averaged 20mins jogging every other day this year and have ran 81 for half marathon and 36:07 for 10k.

  • @werbelloff absolutely. these days i go just fruit in smoothies, forget the greens. save them for later in the day when you're really hungry for them, then eat with wild abandon, after getting your cals from fruit

  • I am pretty sure I saw the video where the guy says that cutting cholesterol out of your diet lowers testosterone. I replied that our bodies use sterols to produce testosterone, including phytosterols. Also, when the bodybuilders want to naturally increase testosterone, they take tribulus, a natural herb that increases that hormone.

    Also, I doubt any juicing bodybuilder could stand down a male silverback gorilla. They have lots of testosterone, are a close relative, and they are vegan.

  • @zigzigerblat Removing cholesterol from your diet is NOT likely to have an effect on hormone levels - consider that your own liver makes 1,500-2,000mg of cholesterol per day, yet only 4-7mg of that is needed for daily T production. Your body already has more than enough to make vitamin D, hormones, etc. Low calorie or extremely low fat intake, though, may curb hormone levels.

  • One thing I like about the raw brahs are their honesty. It doesn't matter what's going on with their current choices because I'm convinced that eventually they would go back on enough calories on a high carbohydrate, low fat, low protein vegan diet then they would be even bigger than before having go through a whole journey just honestly looking for the truth on things.   • low testosterone is caused by excess estrogen (from foods, plastics, genetics etc) or the action of aromatase converting testosterone to estrogen and the best way to deal with that is mostly vegan according to Ori Hofelmeker (the anti estrogen diet).

  • Sex drive on a vegan diet goes down because cholesterol goes down. Cholesterol is a precursor to every sex hormone. In a healthy person cholesterol should be 200-230 mg/dL.

  • @DanielManahan Lots of people go vegan cos it naturally keeps you leaner. Then they undereat and get emaciated and think it was the absence of dog food in their diet. Its like exercising to get leaner, thats great but dont over do it and burn yourself out and tell everyone that 'exercise is unnatural'.

    Humans are like race horses. We both thrive on plants and lots of em. :)
