I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Sports Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Mercedes vintage owners in Germany do so :)

Thx for this video; I love this car, all smell the 60/70'ies.Even the film.
One day, I will get my cabriolet classics and then will proceed direct via the Alps roads to Roma and consorts...I will get my luggage just behind...in the warm of summer!
Oops! You can see the shadow of the camera mounted to the car somewhere between 1:54 to 1:58, lol. Pretty nice footage/clip otherwise -- thanks for posting! :)
I had a 2.0 Fiat Dino Spider and it really did not handle all that well. Had decent top end but was not really that fast either. But the looks were so cool!
to maico 125 - HI!abs.agree with your point.A great design,a harsh rough sounding engine but lacking perf.even at the time.My 911/S 2200 could easily smoke Dinos hands down even in the last 2400 engined trim.
But it was one of the finest spyders all through the 70/80es era,and I regret such a beauty being underrated mainly because of its
Fiat labels on the hoods.
Honestly,in Italy,Fiat was not able to manage such a car, neither about selling nor about servicing.
I like the car, but I'm most interested in the road. I was watching this video, and I think I know the road that they were traveling on. If I'm mistaken, this is the stelvio pass, in Italy were I think they held the 1990 Pirelli Classic car Marathon. the marathon end in a little town called Cortina. I think this may be right, because of all of the hair pin corners. Please help identify the road
yes please can you say as i would like to buy the film more more please can you say??? from a Fiat Dino lover in Devon in england 7 videos now ON Here now not bad going now Regards Dr Andrew

Anyone notice how the road changes from a right hand turn to a left hand turn at 0:42 ?

I like how they dubbed in all the tire screeching, since the car obviously is hugging the road way too well.

Nice car. See the face of the stuntman in the mirror at 0.51-0.54; he even has no blonde wig on his head...

I love the view of the shifter, pedals, the instruments, and the wonder V6 soundtrack, this is what makes all the best car scenes griping.
