Buchanan warned us of the cultural war in America. We didn't want to hear it and so we lost that war because we didn't want to fight it. Buchanan is now warning us of the Balkanization of America through un-restrained illegal immigration and anti-American liberal hate groups. Once again, we don't want to hear it because it's "too divisive." When are we going to stop pandering to the gutless and spineless moderate element of the Republican Party who are little more than liberal nuts themselves?
This election was the BEGINNING of the American decline. It literally changed everything. We had - for the first time - a President who was, at his core, AGAINST the American system. He lied, almost with every breath. And we tolerated it. He used the Federal Government to cover his own personal appetites (interns, affairs, coverups, etc...), and set the NEW standard for "acceptable behavior" in the White House. We've spiraled downhill ever since, and continue to do so.
Pat Buchanan was the last real republican presidential candidate to have a shot at winning before his campaign was sabotaged. The Neocons are Democrats masquerading as Republicans. He said that the Trade deals would destroy our industrial base & send it and our economy overseas. Dead right. He also said the cultural war & immigration invasion would erode & destroy our western dominant culture & society and bankrupt us. Dead right again. He took NH, then was sabotaged in Arizona.
@TheBullionBull Like they did with Bob Dole in 96, songbird McCain in 2008 and more than likely NAFTA & WTO Gingrich in 2012, to purposely lose to Obama, because the GOP has been hijacked and is controlled by Neocons, Democrats masquerading as Republicans.
Pat Buchanan was right on the cultural war (which we have already lost) and right about Free Trade which has destroyed our industry and has created a insurmountable debt.
He was the last genuine Republican, the party now is run and controlled by the same Corporate money lobbies with Trotsykite Neo Con war hawk clowns pretending they are conservatives.
Game over I'm waiting for the grand finale which should be taking place soon
@Bluegumsarepeople2 Game over? Game over? How old are you? I'm in my mid-twenties, I have to live sixty years in this cess pool that the baby boomers have created. It's not over! How dare you say that it is over! Why have you adopted a defeatest attitude. We still have to fight!
@Jsledge85 How many of the candidates are talking about repealing the dirty Trade deals that Buchanan said would destroy our manufacturing & economy and ship them overseas?
@Invesigator So what, he stands for the majority of Americans, the men and women who historically built this country. I think that is actually a political message that is waiting its reintroduction into politics our current immigration scheme is unsustainable unless you want to be a minority in your own country, unless you want your children or grandchildren to be a minority....
Buchanan speaks for the American people and could have beat Clinton in 1992 or 1996. Who thinks Bob Dole is a better politician? Dole was dull. Buchanan spoke for the heartland.
American Third Position Party! Tired of leftists and Neocons? Tired of people using words like racists and anti semite to try to silence their opponents? Tired of affirmative action? Tired of spending billions on upholding a overseas military empire? Tired of the illegal mestizo invasion of the USA?
Look no further than at the American Third Position Party! Take a look at their homepage at american3p . org and take a look at their videos here on youtube.
Pat Buchanan is an American Patriot. No one has stuck up for the American worker screwed by massive immigration and phony free trade like Pat has done. Have you joined Numbersusa yet. Join their million members that fax their Senators for free on immigration. Unlimited never ending immigratin is colonization. Join Numbersusa, no cost to join, only costs your country if you don't.
I like Buchanan but he should never call G H W Bush a war hero that is disgustingly inaccurate, his plane was hit 2 other men were in his plane and he bailed on them and jumped out, Bush just sucked period as president, Buchanan should have took him on period.
I am tired of hearing so much hate and lying among Americans.
Have they stopped teaching 'citizenship' in high school? It means being HONEST and SINCERE. When you seek to divide our country, there is a word for that in the criminal code.
I listen to Buchanan because he, like me, doesn't fit in the simplistic con vs lib dichotomy. I disagree with some of what he says, but he seems sincere - and his views have changed much since this video.
The Corporations ran a billionaire named Ross Perot to split the anti-Nafta vote
In New Jersey's gubernatorial race, they are currently running a state employee who gets his checks from the incumbent Democrat, as a "Independent" to split the vote so that the incumbent gets in. it's a matter of fact that third party candidates take way more conservative votes than Democrat. The Independent's Lt. Governor candidate is also on the gov't payroll.
@ssatrofma No, you are hearing so much hate from the left in this country, who hate this nation, who hate anyone with a traditional view of America, who hate anyone with traditional values. In a nutshell, the hate is coming entirely from the supposed "tolerant" party in America.
@Coachwkr You reap what you sow, my friend, you reap what you sow. People hated on gay people and immigrants much more so back then than even today. Of course you're going to get blowback from that. You say gay people shouldn't have the same rights because it's perverted and is corrosive to society? Well of course gay people and their supporters are going to hate you. It's from years of that kind of rightwing rhetoric that many traditional value folks are reviled.
As I stated in my earlier post. Buchanan simply got a lower degree of IQ that other men (like Ron Paul) and therefore has to resort to bombastic rhetoric to appear 'controversial'. Buchanan could probably speak 2 hours about Israel and never get near as controversial as Dr Paul in just 2 sentences.

Buchanan's culture war was not about the North-South, and Buchanan's views have changed a LOT since this speech. Obama could never have been elected had not Bush named a Black man and woman as Sect of State. Thanks, Bush.
The US is not going to divide.
Haven't you got some money to make? Haven't you got a future? Shouldn't you be studying - or at least picking guitar?
Is this kind of thing you want to wast your life with?
Yeah, like the republican revolution that happened two years later, right? The GOP wasn't destroyed until they started acting like the democrats just a few short years ago.
Actually besides a handful of good guys from both parties, the Republicans have been serving in the role as Fabian Socialist vs the Democrats Socialist. This speech sealed Buchanan's doom by the world order corporations who control both parties & propaganda outlets. He was the Environmental/working/middleclass candidate. His own party demonized him worse than the democrats/media smear tactics that were untrue. Is America better off since 1992? No. California is a glimpse of Americas future.
The Corporations fund both parties. They may disagree on his stupid worthlless topics but when they need to pass the legislation to form the New World Order such as NAFTA & GATT both parties support it. Immigration, which is crucuial in the movement to destroy American culture & society to make it easier to implement the NAU, has not been stopped right? Even though a overwhelming majority has wanted a moratorium for years
How come Pelosi had blocked Kucinch's attempts to impeach Bush&Cheney?
I think it is so funny that Hillary compared marraige to slavery and life on and indian reservation because for her it kindof was. Anyways Reagan and Bush were the most effective Republicans presendents of the 20th Century, Reagan won the Cold War with ecconomics and George Bush was a remarkable millitary stratigist in the Gulf War, I think that the U.S millitary power would be off had George Bush been re-elected.
This is a great political speech in its effectiveness to rally the base.
(I'm not a Republican, so don't flip out that I said that if you're liberal).
But ultimately Bubba Clinton won because Ross Perot dug into George Bush's conservative base, as well as the classic slogan "It's the economy, stupid."
The last great President who really cared about the little guy in the U.S. was JFK, that's why the Military Industrial Complex and the banking cartel had to take him out
uncerntropy, good comments, people like ross perot (third party candidates) tend to do well during recessions. this has been the case since the civil war.
I believe the government has controlled the media for a very long time. Of course, I know that a third party does NOT have a chance. At most, they will steal votes from one of the two parties.
What I am saying is third party tend to get more votes (they will not win) but get more votes during recessions.
well...my good friend...recessions are when the weakness of choice (or the false presentation thereof) are the most present...there should not be, in a country where I can find 15 different types of detergent to do my laundry, 2 choices for the leader of my country....
Regarding recessions and predicting them, I would recommend reading books by Harry S Dent, Jr. I have read all of his except the most recent one. He has been very good. Economy's peaks at the end of the decade and stall (e.g. 1999, 1989, 1959, 1929). Recessions continue into the early about of the next decade and bottom out in the year ending in two, e.g. 2002, 1992, 1982, 1952, 1932, 1912 to name a few.
Regarding to just two choices, I wish there were more.
Three points; I am speaking with a bit of hindsight, but since RvW we have had 23 years of Republican presidents & 12 years of Democrat presidents; when in that time did Republican presidents do anything to prohibit abortion? Pro-lifers are fools to vote Republican with any real expectations.
The 13 colonies were founded on Judeo-Christian values, the U.S. was founded on the Enlightenment.
Lastly,it is cheap to go after the opponent's wife, but in this case I will agree; Hillary is a disgrace
This is a fantastic speech. He is far better speaker than Obama (to the commentator bellow) in that he offers specifics on what policies he supports, and which he doesn't. Obama just gives us one Hallmark speech after another, saying absolutely nothing throughout the process.
That's just not true. Buchanan is a better speaker than Obama. This speech is one of the greatest ever. Whether or not you agree with Mr. Buchanan's views you have to admit that Mr. Buchanan is one of the best orators of all time. Everything is so well thought out. This is, in my opinion, very close to perfection.

Buchanan is so brilliant, all any of his detractors can do is make ad hominem attacks. Brilliant speaker. Brilliant on policy. Speaker of truth to power.
I have to be honest that surprises me about you. Because you sound intelligent , thoughtful and insightful, even though we obviously have a different view on issues, which is fine.
But how i view it is this,,, Hillary Obama and Biden are all Phony Pure political opportunists and utter frauds, NONE Of them are genuine hoenst or sincere.
I admire greatly Kucinich and Gravel, now those 2 men had Principles, Integrity and Character. They NEVER tried to have it both ways. You should vote them
Well, there's a difference between principled politicians and successful politicians. i would've voted for Kucinich in the Primaries if it was valid (though I did campaign for Obama because it was either him or Hillary in what I thought was going to be a close race in Ohio). With the way the election system is set up in this country, you either vote for the center-left or the center-right candidate, any other third party vote is just a waste. It's sad, but it's true.
Its a self inflicted situation. I could easily have your attitude and just settle for Mccain but i respect myself and my beloved country than to do that.
sure, to me Mccain is better than Obama. However, i want to vote my heart, conscience and Principles and if i do that than i demand more than Mccain.
thats why im voting CHUCK BALDWIN Nominee of the Constitution Party. You should too vote who you think is best, do not be an Obama Moron , it doesnt reflect well on you or the Nation
A vote for either Mccain Or Obama is a gutless intellectual cowards Vote. Anyone who does that is part of the problem and not the solution.
NONE of this insanity of the same problems never getting solved is going to change unless we vote differently.
It all starts with YOU leading by example and leading the way, just as i am. I have guts, courage and Principle. I have to look at myself in the Mirror ev day and sleep well at Nite
look, if we lived in an electoral system that allowed run-off elections I would totally agree with you on voting your principles. But there's absolutely no way a third party candidate can win even one state in this election, let alone enough to win the White House. But you go ahead and vote Constitution Party, that just makes it easier for Obama to win. Ask a Florida Nader voter from 2000 if it was worth it to vote your conscience. It's the difference between idealism and realism.
Run Off elections have NOTHING to do with what im talking about, they are IRRELEVANT to this discussion.
Why did BUSH win ? Easy, it aint rocket science as My Grandfather used to say, he won because enough Americans were such gutless Intellectual cowards that wanted him as President.
i was VERY active in Repub party in 00' and i warned all my fellow Repubs DO NOT NOMINATE THIS MORON, hes poison ! They all told me they voted on Popularity and he made them feel good.
You are Responsible for your vote. You are NOT respons for your neighbors vote. Americans are the most gutless intellectual cowards of any Nation on earth.
When its about Politics we are an Utter bunch of wimps, cry babies, whiners and blamers. But the Media ! the money ! The rigged voting machines ! the special interests !
BULLSHIT. Ultimately the question is this at end of the election...were YOU part of problem , or did you lead by example and part of solution ? choose wisely
wow, I forgot the whole women in uniform thing was such a big conservative issue back then. shows how consistantly on the right side of history the GOP's been over the years.
not terribly. the point he was getting at was that Hillary never had to face the kind of racism from people like Pat Buchanan supporters have towards minorities. True, she did have to face the kind of sexism from people like Pat Buchanan supporters, and he should be ashamed of himself for dismissing that, but I'm really not that outraged at a lot of what Rev. Wright said. Barack may be, but I'm not.
Rev. Wright is a Racist Bigoted totally out of touch Hatemongering Radical Liberal Lunatic.
His Vile Rhetoric Serves NO ONE except himself as he is a MultiMillionare , which obviously at same time makes him 1 Massive Hypocrite. Why doesnt he live amongst those poor he claims to care about so much ?
If you want to go out there and vigorously Defend him and say that hes actually just a Nice , kind, Loving, Tolerant , Humble pastor go on and do it,
So Buchanan is a Racist towards Minorities, but Rev. Hypocrite Bigot Wright is not a Racist towards Whites ?
ahhhhhh interesting, what we have here folks is the classic Liberal double speak, a Hypocritical double standard which is
ONLY whites can be Racist, Minorities CANT be Racist its impossible , Only whites have the 'racist gene' Minorities dont have it therefore NO matter what a Minority Person says or does its IMPOSSIBLE for them to be racist.
Modern day Liberalism = the most asinine, Absurd , Ridiculous Hypocritical political philosophy in America
Notice the Pattern of Most classic Hypocrite Liberals , when they feel threatened, cornered, Insecure and intimidated in a debate by being Intellectually dominated and overwhelmed,
It is then that they open up to page 345 of the Standard Liberal playbook which states ,,,,
when you feel cornered and are loosing badly, just throw out the baseless charge of Racist
you have a point there, I shouldn't have generalized that all Pat Buchanan supporters are racist, but it's been my personal experience that a lot of the people I know who are racist love Pat Buchanan. Minorities can indeed be racist, but I really haven't seen any evidence that Rev. Wright truly believes that Blacks are superior to Whites, which is far different from him stating that Whites in this country are treated better than blacks, which is not a racist idea.
Ok so then why do so many Liberals call Buchanan a Racist yet would never call Barack a Racist ?
Also, why do so many Liberals always SCREAM "racist" every time they are debated on the issues. They always accuse the other person a "racist" bigot, homophobe, fascist, of course their pet favorite, Xenophobe .
Liberals of today present a totally emotional argument and not an intellectual one. For Instance every Liberal i have talked to so far has called me a "racist" for not vote 4 barac
boooooooooooooooooo the environment! we don't need to have a place to live, and besides, our cars run on freedom and happy thoughts. if push comes to shove, we can always set the foundation of our mansions on american flags
but in all honesty, we really should have kept those broads out of our combat units. who do they think they are!? American citizens who want to help protect a country that belongs to them more than Pat Buchanan since he sat home with his arthritic joints dodging the draft and thinking about how icky gay men are?
HILLARY AINT EVER BEEN CALLED A NIGGER, WHITE AMERICA IS THE US OF KKK, IM SICK AND TIRED OF NEGROS AND UNCLE TOM TRAITORS WHO JUST DONT GET IT, DAMN AMERICA !!!!!!!
yea the Radical Liberal Hatemongering Lunatic Rev. Wright, Your boy wonders personal deeply close friend, Mentor and Pastor, in your world is a model citizen huh ?
from 9:05-9:40 ... probably one of the most powerful moments at a Republican Convention ever. If (1992) Pat were running this year, He would have won the Republican nomination.
He is a patriot and truth speaker. He was what got me excited about politics. He's why I worked for Ron Paul this year. Those two men are more principled than any man that's sat in that office in the last 20 years. Why can't America wake up and elect just one president with that free a spirit and true a conviction?
I have great admiration for Pat Buchanan. He has modernized himself very well while not abandoning his core principles - something most of so called R's have lost.
Yes god forbid homosexuals have rights like everyone else. Civil unions do not equal marriage when it comes to legal rights. But that's ok with you right? Bigot.
Make the most of your civil unions, they are already given more weight than marriage. Gay marriage is contrary to the best interests of children because it deprives children of mother or a father. It is unnatural, encourages unhealthy behavior and harms the family structure of society. Marriage unites the two halves of the human race to share in raising children. It can't be changed.
Yes, I can tell by the 50% divorce rate as to how much couples give a shit about giving their children a mother and a father. I can tell also by how many kids there are needed to be adopted how much people give a shit about giving their children a mother and a father. Obviously, you really don't know because, besides Florida that I know of, every other state allows gays to adopt.
If by defending the "sanctity" of marriage, you're saying gays can't, then you DO have to look at how sanctified it is. Those saying they believe in defining marriage as only between a man and a woman, seem to be the first to destroy it, Fosella, Vitter, etc. People don't divorce because of a sudden urge of becoming gay. Massachusetts has licensed gay marriages as is California, and nobody cares, and the world hasn't ended, so get over it.
Why are you bringing two bit politicians as if we all look up to them and will act as they do? No one cares about David Vitter and Vito Nobody from NYC. They have revealed themselves to be frauds and hypocrites. Engaging in exactly the behavior they were legislating against. Got what they deserved and will get. One is out of government already and the other will be shortly. At least they both stood against gay marriage though. Vito even has a lesbian sister. Did you know that?
I doubt David Vitter is out of office, and let's of course not forget Larry Craig who still is in office and Mark Foley. "At least they both stood against gay marriage though." --> so it's ok to be a hypocrite? Not surprising as that is the motto of the Republican party in general.
Foley has been out of office since 2006. He now sells real estate. Foley never touched anyone. The case against Craig is weak and that is why he remains in office. He is out by January 2009 and said he will not run again. They have embarrassed themselves and the party. They are two more weirdos if you ask me. It is funny though or ironic that Craig had pushed hard on punishment for Barney Frank's involvement with gay prostitutes in 1989. I doubt Vitter will be running.
How is the case against Craig weak when he pleaded guilty to it? He at first was going to quit, then didn't. Larry Craig also called Bill Clinton a "nasty, naughty boy" too. Vitter is running. He in fact, got a standing ovation from Republicans when he was caught in the DC Madam scandal.
The chargers were reduced and he pleaded guilty to those lesser charges thinking it was the best and fastest way to put it behind him and that no one would take such great notice. What he plead guilty to is not what he was suspected of doing - which was soliciting for sex. Do you know how commonly this happens? Very much so. Reason plea deal was introduced is because case was weak and questionable tactically, the undercover in the bathroom. Anyway you look at it though, the man is odd.
put it to a vote of the people for a state constitutional amendment instead of using the courts to legislate from the bench. then we will see what "the people" want.
Yeah just like the "people voted" to desegregate schools? What do you think Brown vs. Board of Education is? If courts did not intervene on matters of constitutional importance, schools and lunch counters would STILL be segregated today with separate water fountains for "coloreds" and "non-coloreds". Most people in the South would have been perfectly ok with it. That doesn't make it right, or more importantly it doesn't make it constitutional.
What? What government implemented the segregation of the schools? Give up? Democrat governors stood in those doorways. Although I agree with the idea of desegregation, I do wonder if this precedent of Supreme Court intervention at the state and local level. Civil rights legislation was also crucial, passed by a Republican congress. I do believe that this "evil" would have been vanquished without US Supreme Court intervention, rather on the state and local level.
Yes, and those Southern Democrats back then switched parties as they were disgusted with the Civil Rights act and became modern-day Rethuglicans. If you think it would have been vanquished by state governments you are definitely lacking neurons. One moment you say Democrat governors stood in those doorways --- Don't you think those SAME representatives would have done the same in their local state governments? The Supreme Court was needed at that time, JUST as it was needed for Roe v. Wade.
Your history is flawed. Do you mean guys like Robert Byrd, former clansman? Wait, he is still a Democrat. Republicans have been the party of freedom for all men, especially slaves/blacks. First black congressmen were Republicans...for good reason. Southern, racist Democrats did make it hard to get civil rights accepted in the south. Don't blame Republicans for that. Roe v. Wade should be left up to a state vote by the people. You do believe in the will of the people, right? :)
Do you not know how to read my post of above yours? It's called PARTY REALIGNMENT. If local governments did it, the Supreme Court would not have to get involved. How do you think Brown vs. Board of Education, and others that have given civil rights are cases that had to come from the Supreme Court, it's because local governments did not want to. If the "WILL" of the people advocated the murder of all black people would you support that too, beacause its the will of the people?
The situation since desegregation is much worse than before it. Do you realize or care to know just how many whites have been murdered by negroes in this country?
i love when people think right now and within the confines of america, the present is always the most important time in history. the past 50 years has been an atom that makes up the universe's 13 billion year old ass. the downfall of our society is everyone's fault and if we were to point fingers, white people and the british empire fucked it up for everyone. now its usually lunatics who look at hurricanes, earthquakes, and gays and think jesus is coming back any day now. have fun waiting
If the most documented events of human history aren't enough evidence then I encourage you to continue your militia meetings. Maybe Mr. Buchanan will sign your copy of Mein Kampf for you.
Apparently homophobia is merely a cover for smoking meth with gay prostitutes. As Hillary is shrill, Buchanon is STRIDENTLY overly protesting homosexual rights. Any adult who believes the world was created in 6 days ought to be kept away from podiums, voting booths, matches, guns, and anybody of the opposite sex.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Were it not for world created in 6 days people, you would not have podiums, voting booths, matches and guns. You would be a lampshade or a bar of soap most likely instead.
Make it simple: prove your God exists, or keep it to yourself. The Bible is nice reading, but it is fiction. It may have a lot of good stuff in it, but it is fiction. Don't try to make my country into a Christian taliban holdout, an embarrassment to the world.
My mistake. I guess you are merely siding with people who base their collective worldview on a premise that those who don't follow them will spend eternity in torment, hated by God. But it's okay, because they like the Jews. I don't care if they believe what they like as long as they don't impose their neurotic demands on rational people.
Demands that homosexuals be treated as much as possible according to biblical traditions. I think, if some could get away with it, they would be stoned to death, as they do in Afghanistan, the other theocratic state.
Or maybe you could move to Iran where they hang homosexuals from cranes 10 at a time. I'd call that wrong. Drop your horse manure bible argument. What is it that is so unfair?
No, go take a pill or something. I don't care to discuss this inane topic with you right now, or three months from now. I am just glad that I don't have some dusty old book from ancient history, telling me what I should think. Leave the gays alone, and except for a few Broadway plays and bad TV shows, they won't bother you.

Please, let us stop fighting among ourselves!

Coachwkr 1 year ago
@Coachwkr You reap what you sow, my friend, you reap what you sow. People hated on gay people and immigrants much more so back then than even today. Of course you're going to get blowback from that. You say gay people shouldn't have the same rights because it's perverted and is corrosive to society? Well of course gay people and their supporters are going to hate you. It's from years of that kind of rightwing rhetoric that many traditional value folks are reviled.

UNCERNTROPY 2 years ago 2
I believe the government has controlled the media for a very long time. Of course, I know that a third party does NOT have a chance. At most, they will steal votes from one of the two parties.
What I am saying is third party tend to get more votes (they will not win) but get more votes during recessions.
b5kalad 2 years ago
well...my good friend...recessions are when the weakness of choice (or the false presentation thereof) are the most present...there should not be, in a country where I can find 15 different types of detergent to do my laundry, 2 choices for the leader of my country....
peddler66 2 years ago
Regarding recessions and predicting them, I would recommend reading books by Harry S Dent, Jr. I have read all of his except the most recent one. He has been very good. Economy's peaks at the end of the decade and stall (e.g. 1999, 1989, 1959, 1929). Recessions continue into the early about of the next decade and bottom out in the year ending in two, e.g. 2002, 1992, 1982, 1952, 1932, 1912 to name a few.
Regarding to just two choices, I wish there were more.
b5kalad 2 years ago
Three points; I am speaking with a bit of hindsight, but since RvW we have had 23 years of Republican presidents & 12 years of Democrat presidents; when in that time did Republican presidents do anything to prohibit abortion? Pro-lifers are fools to vote Republican with any real expectations.
The 13 colonies were founded on Judeo-Christian values, the U.S. was founded on the Enlightenment.
Lastly,it is cheap to go after the opponent's wife, but in this case I will agree; Hillary is a disgrace

You should vote them
2connection 3 years ago
Well, there's a difference between principled politicians and successful politicians. i would've voted for Kucinich in the Primaries if it was valid (though I did campaign for Obama because it was either him or Hillary in what I thought was going to be a close race in Ohio). With the way the election system is set up in this country, you either vote for the center-left or the center-right candidate, any other third party vote is just a waste. It's sad, but it's true.
liberal4ever 3 years ago
Its a self inflicted situation. I could easily have your attitude and just settle for Mccain but i respect myself and my beloved country than to do that.
sure, to me Mccain is better than Obama. However, i want to vote my heart, conscience and Principles and if i do that than i demand more than Mccain.
thats why im voting CHUCK BALDWIN Nominee of the Constitution Party. You should too vote who you think is best, do not be an Obama Moron , it doesnt reflect well on you or the Nation

look, if we lived in an electoral system that allowed run-off elections I would totally agree with you on voting your principles.

HILLARY AINT EVER BEEN CALLED A NIGGER !
how do you feel about your boy wonder's pastor Wright and his Racist , Insane Horrible comments on 1 of your iconic leaders ?
2connection 3 years ago
not terribly. the point he was getting at was that Hillary never had to face the kind of racism from people like Pat Buchanan supporters have towards minorities. True, she did have to face the kind of sexism from people like Pat Buchanan supporters, and he should be ashamed of himself for dismissing that, but I'm really not that outraged at a lot of what Rev. Wright said. Barack may be, but I'm not.
liberal4ever 3 years ago
Rev. Wright is a Racist Bigoted totally out of touch Hatemongering Radical Liberal Lunatic.
His Vile Rhetoric Serves NO ONE except himself as he is a MultiMillionare , which obviously at same time makes him 1 Massive Hypocrite. Why doesnt he live amongst those poor he claims to care about so much ?

you will sound Ridiculous and insane
2connection 3 years ago
So Buchanan is a Racist towards Minorities, but Rev. Hypocrite Bigot Wright is not a Racist towards Whites ?
ahhhhhh interesting, what we have here folks is the classic Liberal double speak, a Hypocritical double standard which is
ONLY whites can be Racist, Minorities CANT be Racist its impossible , Only whites have the 'racist gene' Minorities dont have it therefore NO matter what a Minority Person says or does its IMPOSSIBLE for them to be racist.
i could win this debate all day long ;
2connection 3 years ago
Modern day Liberalism = the most asinine, Absurd , Ridiculous Hypocritical political philosophy in America
Notice the Pattern of Most classic Hypocrite Liberals , when they feel threatened, cornered, Insecure and intimidated in a debate by being Intellectually dominated and overwhelmed,
It is then that they open up to page 345 of the Standard Liberal playbook which states ,,,,
when you feel cornered and are loosing badly, just throw out the baseless charge of Racist
they then
2connection 3 years ago
you have a point there, I shouldn't have generalized that all Pat Buchanan supporters are racist, but it's been my personal experience that a lot of the people I know who are racist love Pat Buchanan. Minorities can indeed be racist, but I really haven't seen any evidence that Rev. Wright truly believes that Blacks are superior to Whites, which is far different from him stating that Whites in this country are treated better than blacks, which is not a racist idea.
liberal4ever 3 years ago
Pat Buchanan is No More a Racist than Obama is.
It is just as Unfair to call Buchanan a White Racist as it would be to call Obama a Black Racist.

After CA's recent court decision on homosexual "marriage," can we deny any longer that Buchanan was right?
Jitpring 3 years ago 2
Yes god forbid homosexuals have rights like everyone else. Civil unions do not equal marriage when it comes to legal rights. But that's ok with you right? Bigot.
rakrobn 3 years ago
Make the most of your civil unions, they are already given more weight than marriage. Gay marriage is contrary to the best interests of children because it deprives children of mother or a father. It is unnatural, encourages unhealthy behavior and harms the family structure of society. Marriage unites the two halves of the human race to share in raising children. It can't be changed.
criteria119 3 years ago
Yes, I can tell by the 50% divorce rate as to how much couples give a shit about giving their children a mother and a father. I can tell also by how many kids there are needed to be adopted how much people give a shit about giving their children a mother and a father. Obviously, you really don't know because, besides Florida that I know of, every other state allows gays to adopt.
rakrobn 3 years ago
The divorce rate of heterosexuals is not a reason to mutate marriage. It is no argument to undermine the actual insitution by redefining it.
criteria119 3 years ago
If by defending the "sanctity" of marriage, you're saying gays can't, then you DO have to look at how sanctified it is. Those saying they believe in defining marriage as only between a man and a woman, seem to be the first to destroy it, Fosella, Vitter, etc. People don't divorce because of a sudden urge of becoming gay. Massachusetts has licensed gay marriages as is California, and nobody cares, and the world hasn't ended, so get over it.
rakrobn 3 years ago
Why are you bringing two bit politicians as if we all look up to them and will act as they do? No one cares about David Vitter and Vito Nobody from NYC. They have revealed themselves to be frauds and hypocrites. Engaging in exactly the behavior they were legislating against. Got what they deserved and will get. One is out of government already and the other will be shortly. At least they both stood against gay marriage though. Vito even has a lesbian sister. Did you know that?
criteria119 3 years ago
I doubt David Vitter is out of office, and let's of course not forget Larry Craig who still is in office and Mark Foley. "At least they both stood against gay marriage though." --> so it's ok to be a hypocrite? Not surprising as that is the motto of the Republican party in general.
rakrobn 3 years ago
Foley has been out of office since 2006. He now sells real estate. Foley never touched anyone. The case against Craig is weak and that is why he remains in office. He is out by January 2009 and said he will not run again. They have embarrassed themselves and the party. They are two more weirdos if you ask me. It is funny though or ironic that Craig had pushed hard on punishment for Barney Frank's involvement with gay prostitutes in 1989. I doubt Vitter will be running.
criteria119 3 years ago
How is the case against Craig weak when he pleaded guilty to it? He at first was going to quit, then didn't. Larry Craig also called Bill Clinton a "nasty, naughty boy" too. Vitter is running. He in fact, got a standing ovation from Republicans when he was caught in the DC Madam scandal.
rakrobn 3 years ago
The chargers were reduced and he pleaded guilty to those lesser charges thinking it was the best and fastest way to put it behind him and that no one would take such great notice. What he plead guilty to is not what he was suspected of doing - which was soliciting for sex. Do you know how commonly this happens? Very much so. Reason plea deal was introduced is because case was weak and questionable tactically, the undercover in the bathroom. Anyway you look at it though, the man is odd.
criteria119 3 years ago
put it to a vote of the people for a state constitutional amendment instead of using the courts to legislate from the bench. then we will see what "the people" want.
mdbarnes21 3 years ago
Yeah just like the "people voted" to desegregate schools? What do you think Brown vs. Board of Education is? If courts did not intervene on matters of constitutional importance, schools and lunch counters would STILL be segregated today with separate water fountains for "coloreds" and "non-coloreds". Most people in the South would have been perfectly ok with it. That doesn't make it right, or more importantly it doesn't make it constitutional.
jakeh1981 3 years ago
What? What government implemented the segregation of the schools? Give up? Democrat governors stood in those doorways. Although I agree with the idea of desegregation, I do wonder if this precedent of Supreme Court intervention at the state and local level. Civil rights legislation was also crucial, passed by a Republican congress. I do believe that this "evil" would have been vanquished without US Supreme Court intervention, rather on the state and local level.
mdbarnes21 3 years ago
Yes, and those Southern Democrats back then switched parties as they were disgusted with the Civil Rights act and became modern-day Rethuglicans. If you think it would have been vanquished by state governments you are definitely lacking neurons. One moment you say Democrat governors stood in those doorways --- Don't you think those SAME representatives would have done the same in their local state governments? The Supreme Court was needed at that time, JUST as it was needed for Roe v. Wade.
jakeh1981 3 years ago
Your history is flawed. Do you mean guys like Robert Byrd, former clansman? Wait, he is still a Democrat. Republicans have been the party of freedom for all men, especially slaves/blacks. First black congressmen were Republicans...for good reason. Southern, racist Democrats did make it hard to get civil rights accepted in the south. Don't blame Republicans for that. Roe v. Wade should be left up to a state vote by the people. You do believe in the will of the people, right? :)
mdbarnes21 3 years ago
Do you not know how to read my post of above yours? It's called PARTY REALIGNMENT. If local governments did it, the Supreme Court would not have to get involved. How do you think Brown vs. Board of Education, and others that have given civil rights are cases that had to come from the Supreme Court, it's because local governments did not want to. If the "WILL" of the people advocated the murder of all black people would you support that too, beacause its the will of the people?
jakeh1981 3 years ago
The situation since desegregation is much worse than before it. Do you realize or care to know just how many whites have been murdered by negroes in this country?

Were it not for world created in 6 days people, you would not have podiums, voting booths, matches and guns. You would be a lampshade or a bar of soap most likely instead.

Make it simple: prove your God exists, or keep it to yourself. The Bible is nice reading, but it is fiction. It may have a lot of good stuff in it, but it is fiction. Don't try to make my country into a Christian taliban holdout, an embarrassment to the world.

Huh? When did I mention anything about my supposed beliefs?
criteria119 3 years ago
My mistake. I guess you are merely siding with people who base their collective worldview on a premise that those who don't follow them will spend eternity in torment, hated by God. But it's okay, because they like the Jews. I don't care if they believe what they like as long as they don't impose their neurotic demands on rational people.

What demands?

"What demands?"

What is it that is so unfair?
criteria119 3 years ago
It's hopeful that you call that wrong. Bible thumpers spend too much time worrying about what other people are doing with their privacy.
What is your point, asking me about 3 month old posts???

You are satisfied that I call what Iran does wrong but when I say gay marriage cannot happen you probably will call me your enemy again. Yes or no?
criteria119 3 years ago
No, go take a pill or something. I don't care to discuss this inane topic with you right now, or three months from now. I am just glad that I don't have some dusty old book from ancient history, telling me what I should think. Leave the gays alone, and except for a few Broadway plays and bad TV shows, they won't bother you.

Inane to you because all the evidence tells you to not stray from what is natural. Talk to you in 3 months or so I suppose.

You must be inbred, toothless, and uneducated. World created in six days. You are a dumbass.

And what would that make you dear?

"Any adult who believes the world was created in 6 days ought to be kept away from podiums, voting booths, matches, guns, and anybody of the opposite sex." (posted 3 months ago)
Add computers to the list.
