I use max, This is really the first time that I have seen blender in action. It looks like the modeling tools are there. How good is it in animation, UVW mapping, particles and reactors? looks like a sweet program.

The interface takes a bit of getting used to, but once you got it down (2 days for me) with all the shortcuts etc... You make very high definition models and animations fairly quickly. I must say max's interface is so addictive and simple to use tho :P But not $5000 good...
