I know Neith Nevelson personally. Like many who live in South Florida and who love the arts, Neith is sort of an underground icon. She's not unlike many artists who have not been embraced by the establishment but who are extremely talented, free-spirited, and unique. I believe those are the qualities that divide the truly great from the mere "period" artists, soon forgotten.
i met her 11 years ago. I bougth her a painting. critics will talk about her great talent too late as always. They do not have the guts to tell the world how talented neith is...why?
@juansinrifle i know that!!! the people always talk about of the artist after the die... i don´t meet her but today i saw in "caso cerrado"... excelent!!! she is an amazing artist, i hope you pay the really price of her paintings!!!... sorry for my English... i´m learning!!! i hope you understand me!!!
I have seen her in Coconut Grove, she can barely walk . I have also seen her work around town. Never put the 2 together, I didn't know her story until now. WOW Never She is very talented
