I was actually the opposite .. I was better with Reinhardt than I was with Carrie. I also preferred using him, I guess because him having a whip felt more "Castlevania" to me. That being said, playing as Carrie was still lots of fun.

I remember this! I sucked at using Reinhardt though :/ And one time in the very beginning of the game I used his side slide thing and went right into the place where the first cutscene happens XD And in the castle in the first area I fell off of the ledges you need to climb up and then just watched Carrie slowly die.

great game, the music in the beginning by the violin is perhaps one of my fav. melodies in video games, it has a lot of emotion.

I loved this game when it came out! I don't why so many people bad mouth this game. I have beaten the game with both characters before and I can kick anybody's butt with either Reinhardt or Carrie!!! Carrie's smash rings are cool!!!

The beautiful intro is one of the things i loved about this game when I played it so many years ago... it sucks that it wasn't carried over to Legacy of Darkness.

I have to say while the 3d is cool and all it kinda kills it for the Vampire Killer cuz in 2d its hard 4 the enemy to dodge the VK. In this one the enemy can move in a bunch of directions cuz its 3d but it makes it more challenging and all the more FUN!!!

Dracula is the great evil but alucard is his son and has killed dracula, his father, before. Apparently alucard doesnt want his father to be revived or so it says in Castlevania: dawn of sorrow for DS which pwns!

I thought a 3d castlevania would be dissapointing but this looks pretty good so far, if your planning on doing all castlevania games then good luck, :P theres like 16 of them!@ Also i got a video capture but its not workign good so im planning on just using plain DVD recording to post Resident Evil vid soon.
