    Hahaaaa

  • @pulsengine ehm there is no English Accent -.-

  • She is not only incredibly beautiful, but when she speaks German, she sounds like a German, yet when she speaks English, she SOUNDS English.

  • wow so she can speak both! thats awesome!

  • I wanna learn German. Very interesting language and English sort of originated from it

  • I did German in High School, I got a D- (Pass mark was 40/90 and I got 41/90), but I was actually surprised at how much of this interview I understood :p

  • wtf i never knew she wos german but she speaks it perfectly im from germany so i know trust me

  • @xxgopalaxx I think she's half German. I remember her saying in another interview that she was born in England, but lived in Germany for most of her life or something like that. I'm pretty sure her mom's british and her dad's german

  • i can speak german and english (im from spain) but when i started to listen to natalie, it looks like she were talking french or english S:S:

  • Every language you don't speak sounds fast to you!

  • her German's really easy to understand, must be because of the English accent

  • @pulsengine

lol, there's not a trace of an english accent in her german^^

  • her German is actually better than her English =)

  • @argnur of course it is! she's from Germany lol

  • ich liebe deutsch, es ist die beste!

  • and i just knew that cascadas a gemran band, so everoyne else in the bands german so I thought shes 100 % german, . :D

  • @JamesCunnyy , ah, oaky ! :) didnt know shes ot english parents i just knew that shes born in germany and spoke german since her first days. so, she leraned english AND german as her first languages as a child?

  • Oh, so SHE's not German! She said the group is German and her mom is German but she's English!

  • @SciFiLebra89 She's technically German, because she was born and raised there. Ethnic wise she's English.

  • @SciFiLebra89 She grew up in Germany so she is able to speak the language

  • I love 6:36!!<333

  • Dude she is BEAUTIFUL!

  • awwww, german sounds so good *_* but why does she say she is from the UK, i've read, shes born in germany and lived there for many years ! until her youth or longer, so how can she be from the UK ?! please tell me :)

  • @MissNintendo95 her parents are both english she was brought up in a english way she was born in germany and speaks german thats does not make you german in all fairness maybe thats why she says that

  • @ComoEstas15 Every Englishperson is to a certain degree a German. ;)

  • @bluerisk no we are not the german tribes attempt to ethnic cleanse us is proven to have had little effect on are demographic we are primarily basque then celt and we where separated from mainland for 8,000 years without contact you think 400 years of war would change that dna.

  • her german is really good and english ... its a difficult language

german is a way harder than english..

okay for me its simple cause i grew up with german..

    jaaap ..^^

  • @prekillcous I'm an American, but, if I didn't speak English natively, I would think German is much easier. IMO, German is much more structured than English, and all the root words make more sense (i.e. related words build on each other, instead of being entirely new words). Also, in English, we have three forms of the present tense too (simple, progressive, and emphatic)! Although, I say this not being very familiar with German slang or colloquialisms. Actual spoken German could be harder :D

  • @Riflemanm16a2 German is much harder. I learned it 6 years ago, I still make common mistakes.

  • @prekillcous I find German easier than English.

  • But my mom prefers Spanish -.-

  • Lol!!! German is sooo funny!!! xD It cracks me up everytime :P I was listen carefully to it and one part sounded like (German) I got fucked up by (German) I ROTFL xD Spanish... It's okay I heard it many times b4 and it's an okay language. Now I want to learn German. But not to make fun. It seems like an interesting language really.

  • Ich bin Berliner!!!!

  • Of course she speaks fluent German, she has spent her entire childhood in the country. English is her native tongue as her parents are from the UK.

  • im tellin you germany sucks and i know

    i live in germany

  • Ich bin Russen and i realy badly want to learn Deutsch, Deutsch ist gut und Cascada is sexy.

  • She's German, duh.

  • Man she puts my german to shame

  • @MRNU979 hahahaah of coursee!! Mine too, because she's a native speaker

  • voll toll wenn sie deutsch spricht :DDD

  • Uh... what?

  • I didn't understand a word what she said but neither do I when shes speaking in english. Im lost in her eyes :p

    Thumbs up for being cheasy.

  • Hey ich bin Ire, kannt Natalie gut Deutsch?

  • @GrahamPhelan obviously

  • @GrahamPhelan : she talks geman as if it's her native language (it's mine too) ... very good.

  • @Jimspeed73 she grew up in germany

  • @GrahamPhelan ja kann sie sehr gut sogar.. ups yes she can really good^^

  • her german is SO MUCH SEXIER than english.

i love her. id go straight for her. are you reading this natalie?

  • i prefer she speaking english than german, even thought she was born in germany. i applaud her bilingual expertise.

  • the band is, however, natalie is from the UK as she says in this interview

  • @ComoEstas15 She's probably capable of thinking in either

  • Sure, Natalie speaks superb German but she grew up there and went through the German schooling system so would you expect anything else? Her parents are English and that is her mother tongue. The comments about her being a great linguist are a bit exaggerated, she was exposed to two languages as a child and learned to speak them both.

  • She's incredible!!!

  • So, how is her german? I would expect it to be good considering she was born in Germany, but could anyone verify? :D

  • @rsim612 Her German is like of a native speaker.

  • O.O.....wow....thats amazing.....[even tho i didnt understand a word she said]

  • I don't know German, I just wanted to listen to this for fun LOL. Apparently it's really hard to learn though..

  • @LDJ27 German is actually a pretty simple language to learn if you speak English - English is a Germanic language (Both the Angles and Saxons were German). At least a basic understanding only takes a few months of classes. Commanding the language is much harder because of the extra cases.

  • i wanna learn german!!!

  • i do too want 2 learn geran

  • wow. she sounds awesome!!

it must be wierd having to keep switching for all the different interviews

  • Lol she's such a good linguist, she speaks fluent english (ovbiously cause of her parents and she's english =P) but she makes german sound smexilcous!

  • @ grabblebyk ??????????

  • Natalie Horler is german with british descent.

  • Natalie ist do geil loooo

  • natalie is german :P but both her parents are british, so when she speaks english she has an english accent, hence why everyone thinks she;s from england lol

  • hmm for german people its the normal speed to speak xD it isn't really fast ^^. but for you its fast because german isnt your main language ^^

  • the sound of german reminds me Bruno und funky zeit!

  • Cascada spricht Deutch??

  • So she actually does speak German

  • well yeah of course she does she was born there

  • @13charachters She is actually german xDDD

  • @lMooncalf I know, but she grew up in England and I thought the German thing was just a gimmick to market Cascada in Europe. I'm sure I'm not the only one who was under this impression.

  • @13charachters I read her biography so I didnt have that problem

  • that last comment was also aimed at Cantcount0...forgot about you

  • PandasTheMan and Katuepieable...no offense but you guys must not be studying very hard for those 5 long years....I've been learning german for 2 and can get most of what she's saying in this interview...and I'm no language genius...

  • itz uber.

  • I understand it. Our family moved to germany for 6 years and now I'm in my country lithuania

  • get we get a transcript in English at least?

  • Wow!

I want to learn German. x

  • You should...it's a great language :) I'm English and it's a challenge but to speak another language is possibly one of the most rewarding things, especially nowadays.

  • @sarajw1972 same 2 me!!!

  • @sarajw1972 me too

  • Ach Quatsch! Schlechter Witz, Mann!

  • I have studied German for 5 years in school...but i still cant understand this (just few words here and there) hard language mannn.

  • Understand what you mean, it's been five years and i cant speak or write a damn word in german. Reading and listening however, is a tiny bit easier :D

  • @cantcount0

Five years are way too little to understand german!

    And Cascada talks really fast...

    :-)

  • what was the point in putting subtitles under the questions but not the answers? :-P

  • blablablabla

Natalie, du bist so süß. *-*

  • I beautiful British Woman who is popular in England/the USA/ and apprently Germany - and to read below she speaks it so well makes me like her even more attractive for her intelligence.

  • When she speaks English her accent is very neutral, mainly sounding English, sometimes German. I would be interested to learn how her accent sounds in German to a native German speaker?

  • I'm German and i didn't know till now that she isn't German too. She doesn't really have an accent at all. So your description as "very neutral" works for her german too, i think.

  • She has no german accent at all. She grew up in Germany but her parents spoke english at home. I think that's why she was able to learn both languages without any accent. :)

  • She has no accent in German. She has more of an accent when she speaks english than when she speaks German.

  • @Cardesigner2020 Everyone has an accent when they speak. Hers is just not necessarily a typical accent of Berlin, per se.

  • she waves her hand like hitler at 1:50 !!haha

  • Ur a dork

  • She makes German sound sexy

  • so true!

  • I didn't know she was german

  • me neither...i thought she was british lol!

  • she is british!!! she lives in germany. i nthink she moved there when she was young so she speaksenglish but spoke german in school.

  • thank fuck she sings in english aha

  • lol so agreed

  • Comment removed

  • Wieso kann sie so gut Deutsch?!

  • Wahrscheinlich weil sie in Deutschland aufgewachsen ist.

  • I can understand this interview quite easily but I can't really speak German fluently. It's actually quite frustrating when you understand most things that are said to you but can only make stuttering replies.

  • sie so hübsch

gestern war sie im pm in untermeitingen. - so toller auftritt

  • sie spricht sehr gut deutsch

  • she sounds so pretty speaking german.. german is usually a very harsh language!! i didnt even know that she knew german..haha!!

  • @MissJessie18 You haven't heard half of it then. You've probably only been exposed to High German, which is very construed and proper. There is over 20 accents and dialects in German; all sounding very different. German singers: Yvonne Catterfeld, Claudia Koreck, Glashaus, Christina Stuermer...!

  • @mzzzhedison

falco spoke german, too ! an austrian accent, but it was german !

  • I love it at 3:15 when she says "Everytime We Touch" :P

  • She has a English accent when shes speaking
