  • 3 people apparently are boneless

  • top class! no words to say more.... brilliant!

  • ,,,,,,,and it's still NOTHING to compare.

  • It's 17 years now :OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • What ever happened to the rule... "if Robert Fripp is in the band... he plays guitar. That's it." [?]

  • Somebody's diggin' my bones... Love it.

  • 2 people are getting their bones digged

  • Brilliant! They were brilliant live, too... some of the best stuff I ever saw live, and I've seen a LOT.

  • STOP!! GET ON THE FLOOR!! EVERYBODY DO THE DINOSAUR!!

  • STOP

  • i just love them *singing:i`m a dino whore, somebodys dick in my bones "

  • I'm surprised they lasted this long, even Pink Floyd didn't make it through the 90's.

  • @gorillazhead Roger Waters is touring through 2013. Peter Gabriel still makes music. Genesis toured in '07. Procol Harum pop up every once in a while. The Moody Blues still tour, as does Jethro Tull. There's talk of an ELP tour. Rush have a new album out in May. Prog is not dead.

  • @zazozung I'm talking album wise, I know Prog Rock isn't dead, look at Muse, The Mars Volta, etc.

  • top comments fit together so beatifully. i don't have to go digging through the comments to understand :)

  • @HippieDude1414 I am going to go ahead and thumb your comment down just so you don't become a top comment and break them up, because you are absolutely right.

  • Somebody is diggin mah bones~

  • Starting at 1:12, Adrian sounds like Wierd Al Yankovic.

  • really amazing

  • 1995...and these guys made this song. AWESOME, FABULOUS

  • Pure awesomeness

  • hay muchas bandas de progresivo y todas tienen su particularidad, no puedo comparar porque todas tienen un alto nivel. King crimson es una de esas bandas que no tienen puntuación porque la que le des se sale de la lista.

  • progressive rock in its purest state. the definition if you will...

when determining if something is prog, it is a necessity to compare it king crimson

  • oh yeah, when those drums break in we know we are in Crimson Land :)

  • One of the best Crimson records. Pushing boundaries and adapting to what was the present in 1995. Precursor to the Radiohead revolution, without a doubt. Even if Yorke and Co. won't admit it.

  • I live for that one want moment at 1:02.

  • I like Yes and King Crimson. Is that a crime? I sure as hell hope not.

  • @FlytrapStudios No, but if you like Yes more than King Crimson than yes.

  • @residentweavil

Same here man. I feel ya.

  • Awwwwww yeah!!! My friggin life story (except that I'm a gal and not a guy). This song is just f'ing RAWK!!!!

  • quién será el troll que puso "dislike" :@ no puede faltar el hijo de puta que la caga !

  • @oszvmq calmate huguito

  • @oszvmq Desde luego u.u

  • legend has it that something a long time ago wiped out most progressive rock bands. they call it the 80's

  • @grevejp44

You know what really wiped out prog rock?

    Punk rock.

  • @degree7 Clearly not. In the end, the prog bands survived and prospered. And what those punk bands? All gone. Punk was merely a temper tantrum thrown by those that couldn't hope to compete either compositionally or instrumentally.

  • @degree7 please , dont talk about punk on a king crimson video

  • @ReyCarmesi97

Punk had a huge influence on a majority of the artists in the New Wave era. For EX. The Police, The Clash, Elvis Costello, Blondie, Tom Petty, The Jam, Joy Division, The Pretenders, REM, XTC

All of those artists I mentioned released critically acclaimed in the punk vein, and while their initial beginnings could be considered simplistic, they rapidly grew into creating more complex arrangements and songwriting. This birthed Alternative music, still in use today.

  • @degree7 You know what took the dinosaurs' place?

Mammals. But we wouldn't win in a fight. Punk bands appeal to the human aspects, but they cannot compete with prog in terms of raw musicality.

  • It makes me immensely happy that a bunch of aging prog rockers recorded one of the most completely badass rock tracks I've ever heard.

  • disappointed with 6403 views n 39 likes, good that no disliked atleast

  • Fantastic song!!!

  • Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM), Eloy, Marillion, Rush, Alan Parsons Project, Camel, Mogul Thrash...

  • There are other prog bands?

  • @fendermtlbass Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, The Mars Volta, Tool.

  • @fendermtlbass jethro tull, gong, gentle giant, hawkwind, van der graaf generator, emerson lake & palmer ecc

  • @fendermtlbass

Haha, agreed. You got all those poor commenters! The Mars Volta's the only other band that I would define 'prog', as opposed to a half-psychedelic theme band with some instrumental freakage and less 4/4 than usual rock bands. Although that -is- great. But not prog.

  • @fendermtlbass YES. Like "YES."

  • @fendermtlbass

this hardly outshines yes's best material

  • @Stairmaster9068 Yes is a different kind of prog. Still, it's nice to be able to understand the lyrics.

  • Right! Who the hell knows what Yes was singing about? LOL... Still love both bands; Saw them both live.. Thank God...

  • @Stairmaster9068 At least KC never had to write an "owner of a lonely heart".

  • @rexasul i don't consider that yes i consider that cinema.

  • @fendermtlbass Check out Mars Volta.

  • @BassGuyJeff Volta is amazing!!!! Volta Volta Volta!!!

  • @fendermtlbass this is a prog band?

  • @Koolkitties No, it's not.

  • @douzilles Yeah it is. King Crimson is a progressive rock band. Listen to ITCOTCK.

  • @fendermtlbass Yes(that's the name of the group).Emerson lake &Palmer. Genesis. Porcupine Tree. Pink Floyd. Have to go on?

  • best prog band ever
