ok i took the ariel off and it Still has All of the Channels ^.o, maybe my ghost gox is Haunted :D , do you know if its possible to record directly from the headphone socket to a digital recorder, im not much of a technical type with electronics :/ :) or would you not recomend doing that ?

@five4orever When I took my ariel off, the device didn't pick up any stations while scanning. Maybe your unit is haunted. LOL. If would assume the headphones slot is good for recording any audio recieved. Only way to know is by trying it out. :)

Thanks Man, i'll take my antenna off and see what happens, iv got a soldering iron, so i'll do it properly :) but i'll have to wait for my new mic, its coming from Korea ,..South, dont worry :D

@five4orever No need for a soldering iron. If you have the ITC Research Ghost Box, take all of the screws you can find out (including the one behind the silver sticker window on the front) and open it up. You'll have to do a bit more unscrewing inside, but the antenna is only held down with a screw. Easy to remove.

i purchased a digital recorder, which doesnt seem to have a great mic, so ive ordered a sensative mic to see if that makes any differnce, Fingers crossed it does :) and Good Luck with the "Talker IC" :) and if you have the ghost box its best to put it into an Ally container of some kind, i used a Chinese take away container, the lid was coated in ally foil, so it acted as screening to block out the radio stations, any advice on how i can get Clearer EVP's is Very welcome :)

@five4orever I did one better with the Ghost Box by literally taking off the antenna. That way, you don't get the radio stations at all. A reviewer on Amazon recommended doing that. The vast majority of DVRs (digital voice recorders) these days have crappy built-in mics, so using an external one is needed. That is why groups like "Ghost Hunters" and "Ghost Adventures" do not get very many great EVPs since they rely to heavily on the built-in.

well if you'v got an EVP, then if possible maybe you could start up a longer conversation, it'll build her confidence in you and herself :) i have a problem of my EVP's being incredibly weak, i really have to crane my ear to hear anything, i have a Deffinate "Hello" "help Me" (in bloood curdling female scream) "Lisa" "Tracey" and a lot of mumbling from a male vioce

@five4orever EVPs are my speciality and I have hundreds of amazingly clear ones from past paranormal investigations. I haven't done any of late in my room, but eventually plan to. Recently purchased a Ghost Box, like used by the "Ghost Adventures" team. Would work great if Ally was interested in communicating through it. She has been very quite lately. Not much activity at all, but I know she is still here. Plan to get the better "Talker IC" phonetic speech box soon.

Awww thats Nice to have a Good presence, i have had Bad ones for soo many years :/ created All sorts of Nasty problems, which is what they want, i'v captured loads of them in my room, where the main activity is on a Hi8 sony nightshot, but im no good with technology, and they need to be converted over to DVD so i can put them on my comp to have a better look, and listen for any EVP :) Take Good care of her, she's Still a child, and is probably scared about where she is now

@five4orever Actually, she's not a child, more an older teenage. Occasionally I'll see her form in the morning times during the hypnogogic state of half awake/half asleep. No detail, just the dark form of the body. She is close to my height of 5' 9", probably somewhere between that and 5" 3". Her voice is not that of a child either. Buy a Honestech "My Vid Box" converter to transfer your Hi8 video to your computer. Works great.

@phaota if she's that tall and has a child mentality, then maybe thats how she ended up where she is, in the not so long a go days people with mental problems were put in all sorts of "out of veiw" conditions as the familay dont want to be associated with the stigma, and she may have been murdered to get rid of her :/ , sadly this still happens, And Thanks, i'll have a look on Ebay :)

@five4orever I never said she had a child mentality. By activity along, she is very adult in mind and spirit. She is somewhat scared to move on though, as I got in an EVP. This is probably due to misconceptions placed upon during her physical years about what to expect when crossing over to the other side of life. I've gently detailed many times in one-way conversation how there isn't anything to be frightened of and she can leave whenever she likes. It's up to her.

@irishspectra Just the camera's IR illuminator. It has six of them to the left side of the camera's lens. The room was pitch black at the time. I made two more videos recently, but the spirit (whom I believe Allie, my resident ghost) was very reserved this time around. I got a few orb passes, but not enough to upload a video of it.
