if you go to the hall of the dead in whiterun, there is a shrine that should cure all diseases for free. (it is a blessing)

@MacheteGaming12 sounds like you may be overweight. Check your menu and items and see if your encumbered. There is also a walk button on pc (capslock) hit that and see if that speeds you up.

Thanks to that Stormcloak Guard I knew I was diseased without looking in Active Effects!

He is the one that noticed I had disease by saying "My god, you are diseased!"

@BroncosOwnCowboys you can buy them from some alchemists, some general merchants, or simply find a shrine. One is in whiterun near dragons reach behind the dude who screams all the time.

You can also visit the small shrine of Talos in Whiterun, it's near the old man who is screaming about Talos, you may also be able to visit other shrines to cure diseases, and I think they also give you a little perk

@HC32KING depends. If it was cause of a disease, then yes the second you cure it. If it was due to an item and the item is no longer on your person... then no. Kind of depends on the source of the stat.
