  • Did you know you can get decals for your gas tank (sorry petrol)?

They show up on Ebay Motors under the Honda motorcycle parts.

  • John, congrats on your SL125 K1 restoration. Im impressed that you took apart the engine and got it running. Thats the one thing I didnt do. What did you use to compress the valve springs or didnt you take the head apart? There is a guy I use that can take the dents out of the fuel tank and paint it like brand new and put on decals for you if interested. Will cost you about $400 USD plus SH. As for the side covers and tail light, those can be found too.

  • @AV8R lol, just sent you a message then found this :) I didn't take the head apart. I need to respray the tank. I half did it but then rushed the last bit and ruined it :( The colour isn't exactly right but I simply didn't have the money for a professional job and paint. I have the Honda decals but I really do need the red stripes for the tank and also the side covers. I have the left, although its not perfect but a spray would do. I have the original tail light but I bought a new one...

  • @AV8R ... I wanted something smaller and not as tall. When I post a new vid you can see or I can email you some other pics. I'm in the UK so finding the decals and side covers is a real pain. I plan to use her for country lane riding and also some trail riding.
