Bob sounds great. Judging from the negative comments, people are holding them all responsible for the horrible mix. Get past that and they're kicking ass.
Good or bad, it's always Dylan. He's the king of one-off performances and his comments about the money going to the farms in this country still rings true today, 14 years later!
@spyboy1812 Right on! But make that 25 years later. (1985) I read that Geldolf was very upset about comment. That was also the birth of Farm aid. I don't think that comment is included on the DVD.
I know he can seem a little out of it in live performances, but most of the time he's right with it and it's a real treasured live Dylan show. But this Live Aid thing was a train wreck, I'm sure even to him. He was completely drunk and losing control, as well as Keith and Ron.
i just dont understand what bob dylan is thinking when he sings like this. its like hes making a mockery of his own music, his voice and inflections are absurd.
