I remember this when I was little in the early 50's. Haven't seen or heard it all these years but sang the words to my husband last week. It's not as cute as I remember it, but then I was a little kid. Thanks for posting it. Unbelievable that our old memories our out there and they're turning up here. Wow! Be Blessed!
@MountainSouthpaw One of my favs. I recently found the Rosemary Clooney version of the song "Suzy Snowflake". The link under the video "100XmasSongs" is literally 100 songs, being sold on Amazon, $5 for all 100. This song is one of them. Merry Xmas! - XmasFLIX.com
This is so cute, I remember seening this when the wgn was doing a documentary about, Bozo, Gar, and Ray. but This is so cute. I also remember humming to this song too.
This song was in our Christmas Musical...and we, the elves, were to act scared of Suzy. The musical made her seem evil and snotty, yet this makes her seem so kind. I'm confused now. XD
@cryingangel411 Norma Zimmer is the lead singer. You can also hear her voice if you look up Alice in Wonderland, the fifties animated film. Look for the singing flowers clip. She's the white rose. You can also see her on countless Lawrence Welk shows. She was a great woman and sadly she passed away earlier this month.
I was just going to reply saying Soul Coughing. But I can understand why they might think it was Ween. But I found that ... sounded like them, sort of. However, I cannot find the song by Soul Coughing on any album. I cannot even think of one song by them actually. But cool just the same.
@ClintJCL sorry, I just noticed your reply NOW. Are you talking about the song in the video? I don't think it exists, unless I save the video file as an MP3 I guess. But look for the Rosemary Clooney version as that is the original This video was inspired by that. They just had a chorus sing it.
This is such a classic! I remember watching this with my sister's, back in chicago, when it played on "Garfield Goose" and then on "Ray Rayner Show", every christmas. That tells you just how old I am!

I love this, as weird as it sounds, I feel like I'm watching a horror movie and something eerie is about to happen when I listen to it. haha.
