That is a very nice phonology. I am working on a language with a very strange phonology and grammar, as well. Perhaps, one day, I'll post a video like this one... :3
@Beholderofocean At the time is was just an exercise seeing how the phonology would work together; this video was "intended" to sound like someone introducing themselves, and perhaps asking a question back to the questioner.
The "working title" of the language is Kl'tn'az. I probably won't give it a final name until I can further develop some of the culture of this language, though I may just work that to fit the name I already have since I rather like it...
Love it. Was just lamenting on how all conlang samples sound so ordinary and uniform... People like to make their main projects 'beautiful' (which drives them toward Tolkienian/latin/oriental flavour) rather than quirky or /really/ exotic... which is a bit of a shame.
I worked on it a bit recently, and have added some new features to the phonology including creaky voicing, an expanded tonal system, and an increased number of clicks and ejectives. I also cleaned up the orthography a bit, but it still needs some work.
At the time I hadn't really worked on the orthography at all and I just wanted to get at least something down. Now ejectives are represented by a '/' following the consonant and the apostrophes (depending on number and position) are used to represent glottal stops and changes in tone.

Sounds like one of those Khoisan languages with the clicks
Lufttygger306 1 year ago
Are those odd-sounding consonants clicks or ejectives? They sound like the latter, but I'm not good at distinguishing the two.

What the mining of the sentence in the video?
Is a very beautiful language, even if is hard to speak!

Good work on the phonology. But what does this video mean? Does this language have a name (even if it is 'language' in the language)?

@notacommunist
That's an interesting approach. I tend to design more deliberately and focus on grammatical concepts more than exotic phonologies.

@Beholderofocean This is my only exotic phonology language, I'm far more serious about the others.

thats cool man....
you should make it more like a horror language though, put some screams in there lol

Second time i watch this.
I still hate tonal languages. XD
I hate the sound of your language, sorry.
But nice work! Even though I don't like it's sound I like the idea.

Hello everyone, I'm glad you like my conlang. :)

Amazing! I love it!!

Sort of reminds me of Na'vi. Do the apostrophes represent a click or do they make the consonant ejective?

Sounds like an alien language of sorts, like a cross between Klingon and Xhosa. You should change the name to Xhosgon!

Sounds Xhosa-ish. (Sometimes it sucks to be monolingual. The sounds of English are so boring.)
