These riders are awful!!! Some of them aren't, I've seen the full video and know the story behind it. But the riders in the indoor arena are really bad, I feel sorry for them. The instructors must be pretty shitty.

At 1:30, no matter how many times your horse refuses, you should NOT throw your arms around and force it towards the jump! That wouldve spooked it more. If its not jumping then theres a problem and you shall not ride until youve figured the problem.

i totally agree at 1:30. i hate it when trainers push instead of teaching the rider how to fix it correctly. it doesnt really help either that the rider shouldn't be jumping anywhere near that high, from what i can tell, but that horse is a saint for trying to get her over it :)

lol. Hand stand! No offence to any riders or anything but 50% of those falls have happend to me, like when the horse would jump but after the jump th riders fell off. I have had MANY of those and I only fell off once. But that was because the horse was bucking when it came off of the jump. But this video is still really funny!

if i was a trainer, i would show all my students this video,

to reinforce the importantance of riding with your heels down, leg tight and NOT going forwards too soon before a fence or laying on the horses neck. a few of these were the horses fault, the riders caouldn't have prevented them, but most of the time it was the rider who causes their own fall.

I miss jumping, except the falls, but now i am healing from a broken back from trying to fix a horse that I was training. Of course the owner knew everythin about training horses and look where i am at, stuck with a broken back trying to work on basic ground work with a beginner horse. I will say a couple of the falls over jumps look like me when i was first learning to jump. Brings some chuckles from those memories.

really well done video, but the people jumping in that same indoor really should not be jumping yet. I'm sure they're nice people, but their leg and base of support is far too weak. I'm not saying that to be rude, but only because what they're doing is dangerous to themselves and their horses. There's a reason their horses weren't jumping well - because the riders were all over the place. The trainer needs to solidify their basics.

Wow. It looks like most of those hurt. The first time I fell off, it didn't hurt (I was bucked in a western saddle) and it made me much less afraid of falling. You need a good fall to be less afraid although these looked like they hurt as most of the people hit a jump or something. Hopefully my horse won't buck agin...but I'm okay if she does (she was in heat and the gelding behind her was mad.)
