UUGHH!! I cant get it right! Im a beginner and my music teacher gave me this song. I just cant get the tune right.

What string are you starting the song on the E string or the A string?

If you put your first finger down on the E string is that B? (Sorry about all the questions..)

One of the best things about this tune is how great it is to DANCE to it !! It really swings as it goes doesn't it ??? v. Jim I do wish I was closer !! All the best , Guy

(Thanks for the note about Shannon's set. The first is a contemporary tune, Calliope House, written in 1984 by Dave Richardson of the Boys of the Lough.

The second might be Scottish as she mentioned Alasdair Fraser has had a big influence on her playing. You are right, I shall reword my info box.)
