i just make ringtones myself by using a trimming software (mpTrim which you can download in no time and without having to sign up for something) to cut an mp3 file (a song) down to around 0.5 megabytes and then putting those cropped mp3s onto my memory card in the "my sounds" category. i then open up "my sounds" on my phone and then send the mp3 file back to myself via a sound message. i know that it works with verizon phones. If you want to try this method and have questions, reply.
