Tirisfal glades and all of the undead areas used to be my favorite areas from WoW. Creepy music, this feeling of dread. Fighting off the scourge and the scarlet crusade. It felt like an echo of WC3. Brill used to be a cool run down town that the forsaken sough refuge in. The town was run down and I like that whole "ghost town" feel. Now in cata Brill has been raped by Gothic architecture and makes the whole place feel to "mechanical."

This was with ease one of the greatest songs in wow, even though it's so short. I just recently started playing again and went to horde from alliance for the first time since vanilla wow. Made a pit stop in Brill just to hear the music while I was in UC (sadly), and was amazed when it was gone. Thanks a bunch for posting this mtgcs2001, was worried I'd never hear it again... hahaha!

Then I rolled alliance to never hear it again. Went back the other day to get nostalgic and was shocked to find it gone. :(

I don't know, I really like the new (well it's been here for like 2 years so not new) music allot better. This music is so scattered and erratic, jolting sure but not genuinely creepy. The new music is all slow, mournful and atmospheric and just has so much history and emotion in it. Plus this doesn't really sound like tavern music, more like a PVE area or something.

to be fair it is far more enchanting than the current tavern music, the original Brill music had an awe inspiring feel, but without sounding sad or depressing.

It helped to make Brill feel like an undead town, yet was cheery, if you know what I mean. The new music is so generic you won't really recall it.

I played WoW during 2005. This was the best music in the whole game. And in 2008 I started looking for this music, spent hours, but couldn't find it anywhere. So I downloaded the game again and opened a test account, ran to Brill... only to find out that the music was gone! I cried and have been a little bit dead inside ever since. Yeah, I just wandered to Brill to hand in the noblegarden quest before I logged out, and just sort of decided to enter the inn, turn on my music and sit in my old chair -- back in the corner at the bar -- from Feathermoon four years ago...

and the song didn't play. Thank you so much, I was afraid I'd lost this memory; it reminds me of the very beginning of my WoW career. Undead and proud.
