  • love 10cc....

  • whats old wild men about ?/

  • And why was this a B side??? Exceptional song. Love the acoustic guitars and the electric guitar embelishments that do sound like a waterfall. Great harmonies and backwards guitars. Better than the A side!

  • i love this . I played it more than the a side rubber bullets..x

  • i played this more than the a side, its an awesome tune in its own right! thanks for sharing this,, i will return to this time and time again.

  • @yamahonduki i am back as promised, thanks again.

  • I really like this song..!

  • bought 100cc on the fleemarket years ago.

    Unfortunatly have lost it.

Never understood why this song never was on 1 of the original albums.

  • Waterfall and Rubber Bullets and 1st album was great, after that yawn!

  • Great to hear again without all the crackle

  • I used to Play 'Rubbet Bullets' ... turn it over, play 'Waterfall ... turn it over, play 'Rubbet Bullets' ... turn it over, play 'Waterfall ... turn it over, play 'Rubbet Bullets' ... turn it over, play 'Waterfall ... turn it over, play 'Rubbet Bullets' .. etc. etc. :o) Thanks !

  • @georgeglen I can really see that. This, a tune with quite breath-taking harmonies (oh, those vocals!), Rubber Bullets with all of its beat and tongue-in-cheekiness. Imagine that single got worn out fast... ;-)

  • ♥ .

  • @MrMLD72MLD Beautiful Share!

  • Yes my father has the 45 of this and Rubber Bullets.

  • great band!

  • A 5 star song: Waterfall - 10cc [Stockport, England] - 1973 - "A British Folk-Psychedelic song with backward guitar riffs at times." - The Best Of The Early Years [Import UK] (Demon Music Group Ltd)-2002.

"The first song 10cc recorded following the quartet's decision to abandon session work and form its own band instead, Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman's 'Waterfall' was demoed at the band's own Strawberry Studios in early 1972."

  • I've loved this song since I first heard it on the "100cc - Greatest Hits of 10cc" album. Just got the "Live and Let Live" CD in the mail (after having lost the album 30 years ago) and still love listening to the live version as well.

I still haven't figured out how to play "Waterfall" or "Fresh Air for My Momma" on the guitar.

  • Growing up as a hippy in the 70s, we didnt think much of the "a" side, but someboby put Waterfall on the juke box, and they became a firm favorite with us hairy type`s. They dont "alf" sound like Crosby,Still`s Nash and Young. !!!!!!!!

  • Shows perfectly the vocal range of this unfortunately most underappreciated band--yes, there was and is more to "making it" than was know back in the day...this stuff will stand up for many years to come--I predict, say, 2045-2060 ish people will hear it, love it again and forge a path of footnote popularity perhaps equally as enjoyable as any present rendering...just great stuff!

  • my all time fav song.
