@funkbebe Actually when you play both songs at the same time, Jlo's is a like 1/8th faster (the baseline beat) everything else IS different...Therefore the tempo is almost exactly the same. Yes, melody is different along with everything else. But try it....open both songs up in different windows/tabs and you'll see.

you mean that one hit she had a couple of years ago, not her alone, a collaboration. the recording sound is similar. that's the studio sound. but the melody and tone is completely different.

furtado's is an upbeat winding kind of melody, and a light hearted party song. this melody is very different from that one, the same key is confusing you, and this is a haunting kind of song and lyric, not a party one. i think darker theme goes with the recording sound better.
