It had been a while since I had picked up my violin and I must admit that my vibrato skills had degraded somewhat since high school. Awful? Well, that's a bit on the harsh side I think, but an opinion is an opinion (unless, of course, it's said to elicit a certain response? haha)

So you play an instrument?

@schmidty2007 no no some people like the vibrato notes like that, im just searching for the full song played sharp and clear on violin *similar to the movie's* but without the orchestra. Just to search for a Irish or Celtic feeling from it

-- i play piano instead of violin so i probably wouldn't know much it, but its just my opinion that in all music id prefer to hear the full clear note instead of the vibrato (or whatever its called)

Ah, lovely job. You have really nice vibrato, just be careful with squeaks, as they sometimes distract from your otherwise really nice playing.

alot of white people who have watched it get it actually,JRR Tolkien based Rohan on the AngloSaxons and the Norse,and i think watching them and listening to that song just gives you the sense of our past and the warriors we used to be,thats why it gives me the chills anyway

@VigisKane Although the normans didn't always get along with the anglo saxons, you can't forget their influence on the riders. After all the normans had cavalry troops while the anglo saxons fought primarily on foot. I have to say, if i lived in middle earth I would love to been a Rohirrim.

Its a little known fact but the Anglo Saxons did in fact ride horses they just didn't ride into battle on them,they dismounted before the fighting
