That is waaaay too shallow of a depth of field. Having dof is nice, too much just makes it overly amateur. Nice video I guess, would have been nice to have the flies in focus...

That's such a cool vid shot. real nice. Haven't seen fireflies in ages and to see so many. that's cool!, Thinking of getting a Canon 7d for still pics mostly and like to do so vids as well. What's your opinion on still pic quality, I myself would like to take pics of people, wild life nature, get into macro and of course landscapes. Guess it depends on what lens to use and how is it's ISO range in low light before pics start to get grainy.
