I ask because I once touched it, actually hold it on my hand and nothing happened. Today I was watching new episode of Man vs Wild where Bear Grylls found one salamander in the forest and he didn't touch it, he said it has some poison glands.
You didnt keep that badass salamander i found both of mine in the field on drills and stored them in my hate on my head till i got back to the baracks they both live in the shoe box on my dresser im getting a fish tank soon when i remmeber while acctually ima just go get one now lol.. but yea im stop at the pet store and buy another one i seen with the old lady..
nice, you ain't the only herper out there in the field.
i know many who came back with all kinds of herp goodies.
one guy smuggled home a few leopard geckos. those wild boys got huge.
another has brought back tokay geckos, although i think those geckos hitched a ride on his ride.
i have been asked by almost everyone in the military. "hey, you know what this is?" this may also explain why more people are getting into the hobby. they see these animals out there.
Yes, it should burn slightly your fingers if you touch its back, more like nettles ; but it could make young children sick and will paralyse small predators'mouth if they try to bite it.
lol its so cool
