  • geomatics engineering, it is like surveying, but the twist is that, when your a geomatics engineer, you get to survey the entire world...thats how it works.

  • how essential is geomatic engineering to the modern day global development?

  • it is really civil engineering because they deal mostly with lands & logistics by it. By the time you get a job, you'll end up using less than 1 % of what you studied. The same with every field.

  • @Jambalyer10 It really depends where you work though

  • lmao @1:01 theres no house behind him

  • i am going to do this career and then i do this in the army. thanks for the video i learned more about it.

  • I just love how civil engineers think they can specialize in geomatics just by taking a 'surveying instruments' class...

  • Too bad he doesn't talk about the great option offered in Canada! There is tone of it!!!

  • Hey guys. I'm studying Geomatics at York University in Toronto... I would like to talk to anyone who study this major. Sharing knowledge and ideas....Thanx

  • it is really sophesticated video i like it

as civil engineers we must understand geomatic

which is rapidly developing disciplines that focus mor on a spatial info

  • I am student in geomatic sc and I like this video. Thanks for uploaded. (^_^)

  • This is the greatest major ever.

  • @zmansushi: really? i am in civil eng. and i have option of specializing in geomatics in 4th year.

  • @327372 lol where you from? UofT? lets be realistic...can you really specialize in anything in one year? hint hint. its more like a good intro... :s

  • @Egghed545 well obviously its just undergrad degree. plus i would never want to do geomatics for 4 years, its damn boring. surveying sux dick. in my 2nd year intro to geomatics course we had to survey in freezing weather every week.

  • @327372 lol well i wouldnt know cuz i didnt do geomatics either. but i hear the pay is good :s
