Great harmonies that Mould and Hart had.. no punk band or band will ever come close.. its a shame they have not and probably will not make music ever again. I was born in 1982 and never got to see them. But I am grateful to even own their records... Husker Dude for life! and i m a chick haha
lol i love husker du, they were the band that put me through high school lol just the whoel aura of the band is something worth being inspired for. bob mould's guitar sounds is an inspiration for my own music
There they were, the Bassist in his designer clothes and moustache, the drummer looking like a heavy metal god, and Bob Mould. The 3 together were very mesmerizing and wonderful. Husker Du for life.

I fuckin love the sounds Bob gets out of his guitar man. I really can't think of too many other guitarists that sound like that.

What I love about this band is that they always looked like they'd borowed their instruments from Queen.

Great version of Girl Who Lives On Heaven Hill, easily Grant's best song except maybe Pink Turns To Blue.
It's kind of funny to see all the goofy UK fashion punks pogoing around like they're supposed to. Christ, go home to your Exploited records, dorks.

De fikk ideen om navnet på bandet da dei var i Norge for mange år siden, og det gikk ett program på NRK som hadde navnet:)
toneopsh 5 years ago
Nei. De fikk navnet Husker du fra et dansk brettspill som var populært på 60-tallet.

The performance of Everything Falls Apart is a bit spotty, but Girl Who Lives on Heaven Hill is spot on. Fantastic. I love to hear Grant wailing.

These guys ruled the 80s. It's a shame they are not worshipped the world over.
