@Erikthecrazydude I know... I finished every route quite a while ago, and am now slowly rewatching the anime yet again. It's a very nostalgic song. *sigh* ... almost makes me want to go back and play through the visual novel again every time I hear it, if it weren't 100 hours long.
@TylerTaylorKemura All the initial routes are roughly the same length (except for a couple of the silly or bad ends). Once you've finished all of them, then you unlock the After Story which follows Nagisa's route farther. She's the only one that gets that extra second route, which essentially makes her story about twice as long as everyone else's. Well, Tomoyo also got her own after story in a separate visual novel, but I haven't gone through that one at all, so I don't know much about it.
@Zherynn Thank you very much! I watched all of Clannad and After Story and was hoping that the visual novel spent more time on the other arcs compared to the OVAs found in the anime, which are only one episode long.
@TylerTaylorKemura Most of the big points of the other routes make it into the anime, minus the romance. The OVAs were made so they could include some of the major plot elements that required the romantic relationship in order to make sense. Although I will say that the Kyou/Ryou arc still ends up getting cut way short, even with the OVA. Plus there's a whole additional character (and route) in the VN that didn't make it into the anime at all.
