And yes, although adoption is availiable, if the baby ha congenital defects, there's a les chance of it ever being adopted.

But Abortion should never become illegal.

You need to understand, yes i think it's wrong when it comes to someone just getting rid of the child because of say downsyndrome, or say a cleft palate. But imagine if that child was born into a teenagers flat who has no income, the child would suffer, right? or be in and our of care it's life. Or imagine it was in so much unbearable pain, and it would only live a few days, should you put it through that?

It's not your choice to make. If someone is suffering, should they commit suicide? It is not a mother's choice to kill a baby, because the baby does not belong to her, it belongs to the One who truly created him/her, God. I know of a person who was told that their son would never survive, that they would be doing him a favor to kill him, but he is a happy, healthy, wonderful child.
