There's no actual Lennon-version of this song.

The only existing recording with John Lennon is a demo and if Lennon would have lived today, that demo would have been non-existing.

Lennon planned to have grow old with me on the album that should follow Double Fantasy.

What an absolutely beautiful version of this classic song. The only other person that does it justice is Mary Chapin Carpenter. Craig is a very talented individual with a superb vocal. Its a lot more listenable than John Lennons version and thats not taking away from the incredible Beatle - the greatest lyricist of our generation its just that he wasnt the greatest vocalist at times. Craig good luck.
