That's what I love about Sly. When I told my friends that I saw Rocky 6 everyone rolled their eyes saying "He's too old!" What most people don't get is that is the whole point of Rocky 6, he is too old but Sly stuck up his middle finger and said I can do it anyway. Stallone put the most time and effort on Rocky 6. It relates to himself as an actor being told hes too old to play certain roles. This movie was him showing everyone what hes worth. This was by far the most motivational and emotional of all the movies and gives you so many life lessons.

People can really relate.

As every first film of a series should be. How deep did that have to go with IV? By then all the characters had been greatly colored in and displayed so they don't need to spend all this time telling the audicence who is who by the fourth film. It's all a matter of opinion which Rocky movie is the "the best" anyway.

Thank God for his wife's intrusion. That would have sucked if the girl was sitting with him at his wife's grave, not to mention that she was inappropriate for him when considering age. Part of what made the Rocky movies so special was the relationship between he and Adrian. To violate that relationship would sully the importance of the relationship. Rocky only loved Adrian in his life. That's the sentimental fact that we need to make us shed a tear at the grave scene.

I love the relationship between Rocky and Little Marie. And he presented it perfectly. He was respectful of the die-hard Adrian fans who didn't want to see Rocky with anyone else, let alone someone so much younger... and on the other hand, he leaves the interpretation VERY open to the possibility that they WILL get together... for those of us who would like to see that ;-).
