I was in my car when I heard Chris passed away on the radio. I will never forget that day. I actually cried the rest of my trip to where I was going. He was truly a gentleman, gave so much to charity, never missed a weekly visit to the elderly and sick children and not to mention way beyond talented. What a great loss to our world

If you watch the scene in "Tommy Boy" where he's in the sailboat with Julie Warner, you'll see he was a very capable serious actor as well as a laugh-a-minute comic actor. He was supposed to be sad in that scene, and he conjers it up convincingly; his eyes well up with tears up and pulls it off nicely. It was believable.

Had he lived longer, I think he would've expanded on this and been recognized for it. He was a talented actor, not just really funny.
