Sorry to disagree with your assessment of my race based on the use of the term "white folks". The last I looked in the mirror I was in fact "white", as I have been for the last 59 years of my life on this planet. 1- The city was developed to generally house factory workers. Americas industry needed a huge work force in a small area. As Things became more automated the type of infrastructure Detroit has was not needed.

The boarded up house shown starting at 0:50 on Southampton appears to have been reclaimed & inhabited. Using Google Street View I was able to look at it. The location is "Southampton" & "Coplin". 1- The city was developed to generally house factory workers. Americas industry needed a huge work force in a small area. As Things became more automated the type of infrastructure Detroit has was not needed.

" I doubt that you have any idea about the history of Detroit, I would suggest you start with a history of the Housing Act of 1949 which created the white suburbs that you grew up in. Then take a look at the history of the development of the public housing in Detroit as well as the rest of the country. Then take a look at the cases invoving the block busting in Detroit.

@MisterBahston yeah, your so right , this is what people don't see n the main stream media , they know Detroit is bad but ,I don't think they know the severity if it . watching these 3 videos , would make em get it .sure wished someone would do something about it but, it's never gonna happen so, I will just hope for Detroit and sit on here and bitch about it I guess.... wtf? may as well , it is what polticians are doing for Detroit , if ya can't beat 'em join em :D right ?
