Jack is a relative of Ashley MacIsaac, Buddy MacMaster, and Natalie MacMaster from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia...who are 3 of the greatest fiddlers in the world and of the biggest names in celtic music.
Ashley MacIsaac opened this show and brought 82 year old Buddy MacMaster up to finish his set with him. Jack made a few references to them and the rest of his cousins in Cape Breton throughout the show.
The show was at the historic Savoy Theatre in Glace Bay.
Jack White apparently has relatives in Nova Scotia, Canada. Nova Scotia means New Scotland in Gaelic & Nova Scotia has a prominent scottish ancestry/geography.
Hands down one of the best shows I have ever seen - so glad we saw it there with that audience too, crowd was great and definitely helped make the show.
love how megs on the floor drumming!!!! GET IN THERE GIRL!!!!!!
