  • You Skiped vrese 3

  • @annabell913 yeah, ¨they¨ skiped that part i dont know why, that pissed me off a bit too, but it´s a 1940-1950´s recording from a radio show in the usa, so, there´s nothing i can do to change that, sorry!! but, still is a beautiful rendition, don´t you think??. Greetings and have a Happy New Year!!!

  • Now is the time to sing, envision, enact, and retell a story of God coming unexpectedly in the worst of times as a baby born poor, born homeless, born to die that all human life might be transformed and dreams made real. It's God's Good News—but only because we already know the story of Easter.

  • They left out the frankincense verse...

  • I wonder where they get the idea that there were three kings, or that they came by camels, or that they visited this baby on the same night. There is no mention of this in Mathew 2:1-12. It just says wise men and that they gave three gifts. That doesn't mean that there were three. There could have been two or even ten. Of course, all of this is a mythstery.

  • @TheCobalt100 hi, in some non-Canonical Gospels or Apocryphal gospels ( apocrypha means ¨things put away¨) from the early Christians, they mentioned several things about these ¨magi¨or wise men. For instance:in the II century ¨Childhood gospel¨ acording Thomas, was 3 legions of soldiers, 1 fron Persia, 1 from Babilon, and another from Asia, in the V century Armenian ¨Chaildhood gospel¨(of Jesus) the name of the wise men leading them was Balthazar, Melkon (Melchior) y Gaspard. Merry Christmas!!!

  • @TheCobalt100, they visited Herod at the same time so they visited Jesus at the same time too, cause if they came in separate groups, Herod would suspect when the first ones didn´t return to tell him were the baby was, and he wolud send spies with the other ones.By the way the camel is the better way to travel long distances in desertic areas even now, so is logic that they came by camels.Perhaps wasn´t 3 kings but 3 high emisaries, in any case these are early Christians traditions. Greetings!!

  • @TheCobalt100 did you really search this song up, or just click on it, just so you can say that whole paragraph. did you really had to be that one atheist guy that likes to go on Christian related videos and make fun of christians. i don't understand, if you don't believe in some thing, just don't bother with it . don't go and crush peoples Christmas spirit's

  • Such a beautiful song and a wonderful testament. I absolutely love the vocals.

  • Who sings this?

  • @Ruach Hi, this is singed by the Longines Symphonette Society, a record label which specialized in releasing classic radio programs and multiple-record box sets broadcasted from 1943 to 1957 in the USA.

  • @avatarprimus Much obliged... quiero decir gracias.

  • classic

  • yay christmas in september!

  • BEAUTIFUL.... I was moved

  • Beautiful song and video. Thank you so much for helping to keep alive the old, traditional Christmas carols, which truly convey the spirit and real meaning of Christmas. You never hear these carols on the radio anymore, just the silly Christmas songs, because our society has become so secular. Thank you, again, for taking the time to put this video together with this beautiful song -- it's really appreciated.

  • Where can I hear more music like this? Not mens choir or anything like this but men singing like this is soothing. All the new stuff seems girly.

  • My ma always sang this to me on Christmas night

  • Hey we're a new band from Los Angeles called Hopes High! We recorded our up and coming EP in the same studio as All Time Low, The Maine, Forever The Sickest Kids, and 3OH!3

Check us out and let us know if you like us :)

  • there is another version of we three kings which i heard about three years ago.i cant to get that song in the net.it was so beautiful and it still rings in my ears to this day.i am still searching for that song.i would like to hear it again...just once more.can any one help me with suggestions.it would be most kind of you.

  • Star of wonder, star of night :D

  • Thanks for this!

    Merry Christmas everyone :)

  • Our Christmas concert closer :D

  • Thanks for posting! Merry Christmas!

  • This is nicely done. I have question though. What use would Franckensense, myrrh and gold be to an infant? I think it would be more appropriate to allot some heavy duty diapers because there is a lot of poop being discharged here.

  • @cobalt100 It is thought by some that it is simbolic. Christ was brought Gold because he was a King, Frankincense because he was a God and Myrrh because he would sacrifice himself for all men and myrrh was used in burial.

  • i love this song

  • Check out my version of this song it is metal! The Captain

  • Finally, a good classic version. Always so busy...

  • A divinely inspired piece of work.

  • im doin this for my cocert but im not a solo im a chime bar player

  • I love the bass rumble this arrangement has :-D

  • i am singing this in the ks1 concert with a verse on my own!

  • I use to be in a christmas concert yearly, but ever since I got sick, I lost my ability to hit high notes...If I had any wish for christmas, it would to be able to hit those high notes again...>_<

  • @Childofstorms I'll pray for you.

  • this is myfavorite christmas song?

  • this is among my favorite Christmas song

  • My sister played the part of the three kings

  • This carol pwns anything else!

  • great song :)

  • Nice vid, what's with the star of David.

  • @Asxhmoula Jesus Christ is of the line of David. It's got nothing to do with the modern political state of Israel.

Personally, I am pro-state of Israel, since they're the only country in the Middle East that doesn't have her citizens killing Chaldean, Syriac or Assyrian Christians in their Churches. Not deliberately anyway.

But that has nothing to do with Jesus Christ taking the throne of David as the King of the Jews, since the state of Israel is not the Israel of God. That is in heaven.

  • they missed frankincense

  • This is one of the songs that made me want to learn to play a violin its a beautiful song!

  • this would be a good heavy metal song and its my idea unless im too late

  • i love the rock version for gh is teh version of steve quilmet (or something we like) but this is clasic

  • was playin it on my violin and realised i luved it :)

    God bless dudes xx

  • This song has it all.

Very uplifting and cheerfull, but also deep poetic and haunting. A knock out; even better than ''Silent Night''. lt deserves to be more reknowed worldwide.

  • A beautiful song !

Thank you, and thanks Helmut, for sharing !

  • Huh, very nice. Too bad It's missing the third verse.

  • finally a bass version theres a soprano version i dont really like

  • Favorite of all the carols! Thank you for

    posting the complete lyrics!!

  • Been looking everywhere for this with fairly "deep" voices singing it instead of the high.

  • hi fililoll2000!

  • i like the jewish star when the chorus comes on haha =]

  • By far the best! I always used to be one of the three kings at christmas! This tune is so beautiful

  • Lovely, isn't it...

  • Merry Christmas everyone!

  • I'm a pro musician and performed this in my eight or ninth grade chorus. I am 53 and love it to this day!

  • This is like my favorite christams song and at my church we always have a christmas song play thing and I'm mad beacuse the guys always get to sing this song. :(

  • anelfintheforest I have to sing this carol too

  • ooh its this song they've done a rip off in guitar hero xD

  • adorable song

  • I have to sing this for my Christmas Carol Concert! (Bummer)

  • i have to sing it for my vocal final

  • I love this song! It's really nice. It would be good if there'd be a full version, but the same voices.♥

  • Usually, the Myrrh line is left out; in this one, however, the Frankincense is.

  • I hate when the Myrrh line is left out. It's the best line.

  • @pytko3 i think its in there at 1:38

  • @pytko3 1:37 ??

  • This is wonderful my friend! I'm going to do it very soon in a concert :-)

  • i have sung this song for chistmas in our parish.

i love this song very much

  • Where did you rip this from? I am trying to find a CD with their carols on it... I must say this is one of the most pleasant choirs i've heard in a long time, and it would make my christmas if i could track down a CD

    Many Thanks

  • nilsgregory, hi, i have two cds i bought years ago here in Mexico, one is "First Noel" and the other is "Let it Snow", both recordings are from a Christmas collection from the Symphonette Society, now, if you wish the original cds you can find some of their recordings of this Christmas collection in amazon . com.

  • thanks so much, im glad you liked , God bless you!!!

  • i love this song

  • Where DID the frankincense go?

  • i love this song but sometiems is makes me sad.

  • Where did the Frankincense go?

  • i always asked myself this too,but i think, because this song come from a collection of old recordings of the Longines Symphonette Society, i guess that perhaps some parts of the original recordings are missing or damaged and they not included these part here because of that.

  • relaxing, calming song.

  • its the impossible gh3 song

plz give thumbs up if im right

  • comments on David star , well read the bible which is written by jews n JESUS CHRIST was also a jew. GOD sent his son JESUS to save the jews his chosen people n also the gentiles d jews despised him n crucified HIM but jews are gods chosen people n Christians should respect them n fully pray n bless Israel the chosen land and jews the chosen people of GOD d father n GOD will save them n they will know JESUS is the king of jews , SO GOD bless ISRAEL

  • @joshdcool23,

Might like to know that Jesus' ancestry lists two non-Jewish personages: Rahab (from Jericho), whose son was Boaz who married a Moabitess named Ruth. Their first-born son was "...Obed. He was the father of Jesse, the father of David." (Ruth 4:17b)

It was Pilate, a Roman governor who said that Jesus was the King of the Jews.

Jesus is far more than that, He is the Savior of those who put their faith in Him.

  • um, why is there a star of david (a jewish symbol) in a song about Jesus?

  • hi, thanks for the question, our Lord Jesus is Jew also the Holy Virgin Mary and all the apostles, He legally is decendent of king David, thats for the Messiah is called son of David, thats why i put the star of David here, he was sent to convert Israel to God, and the apostles by Him to convert the rest of the world, also the wise men went to Betlehem to adore the King of the Jews thas was born, and as a king he is entitled to the symbol of the star of David.

  • because Jesus is the king of the jews but the jews don't believe he is

  • some Jews do believe, in my city (Hermosillo, in Mexico) the Rabbi Benito Parra (Rabbi from the Messianic Synagogue) have said in several TV interviews that some of the jewish people really believe that our Lord Jesus is the only and true Messiah, he also said that they have studied our Holy Mother the Virgen Mary and Saint Joseph and their relatives, and, they are convinced of the chastity from both of them, before and after the birth of our Lord, and they have the New Testament studies

  • AKA Messianic Jews?

  • it brings peace to my mind and soothes my eases.

  • Lol this made my cry I don't know why D :

  • the only reason i like this song is because when i sing it i soung amazing

  • ohhh.... i love this one.....

  • merry christmas,,,AVATARPRIMUS..its my favrte,,,,.thanks LORD

  • "Glorious now behold him arise, King and God and Sacrifice..." You guys don't mind if I just start weeping uncontrollably do you? :'(

  • Glad to know I'm not alone in this.

I always get teary while listening this...

  • No, you're certainly not alone. Jesus is the "Man of sorrows" (Isaiah 53). I don't think it says Jesus laughed even once in any of the Gospels.

    ~SadChristian (AKA sk8teh14)
