Now because of many difficulties like poverty and low education Muslims aren't performing well but that doesn't mean that they are unable to do so. Let the countries with most Muslims living (Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Pakistan) recover their wealth looted by colonial powers, then you will see more Muslim inventions taking place. Only Arabs don't represent Muslims, East Asians got the majority.

Dear friend, this was the great departure of analogies in the two holy scriptures. The father-son relationship to God in the Bible as opposed to the master-slave relationship to God in the Quran. Both imply the meanings metaphorically, not literally. Both are perfectly acceptable, as long as the true meanings are understood. We are not physically His sons, neither are we physically His slaves. As God does not give birth to children, nor does he require slaves to do His work.
A person who worships Allah but does not accept Muhammad (PBUH) as the final messenger cannot be considered a Muslim. A person who does not believe that Eesa ibn Maryam (Jesus son of Mary) is Al-Maseeh (The Messiah) can neither be considered so. One must believe in both these facts to be Muslim.

Jesus is referred to as Eesa ibn Maryam (Jesus son of Mary) in the Quran. However, in many instances, Jesus is also referred to as Al-Maseeh Eesa ibn Maryam (The Messiah Jesus son of Mary).
Therefore all Muslims must believe that Jesus is the Messiah.

Gabriel is the angel that conveyed the messages (not actions) from God to the prophets, including Virgin Mary, Jesus and Mohammad. We believe they are prophets of Allah, the only God, and to be emulated as mentioned. Muslims don't worship Mohammad, however as we Muslims adore him, we defend him against those attacks occurred throughout the lst few years. Just the way you adore Jesus, but not the way you believe in Jesus. Thats the difference.

If I might come in and answer the question, I would say that we Muslims believe that birth of Jesus was Jesus's first miracle performed for the people to believe and invest trust and passion in his message. And so it did. We believe that Jesus was born without any male intervention, and to be precise, without any intervention at all. Just a fatherless child called Jesus. As for Holy Spirit, I'm not sure if it is Gaberial in Christianity, but it is in Islam. He is only one of God's angels.

What was the reason of Islam's fall ?.
The Arab Muslims ruled India for over 1000 years and the state of the common man was a supressed peasant, every structure that was built was just for the Elite Muslims. The Christian ruled India for about 100 years and built rail, road and schools giviging the common man the education ( ILM ) which is the first pillar of Islam.
Who do you think is the better Muslim ?
Faith in the absence if ILM is more like the sound of a empty vessel.

While I cannot deny your latter statement that faith without knowledge is blind, I must disagree that Islam suppresses the common man. Muslims, as opposed to Islam, on the other hand are prone to deviate from the teachings of Islam that all men are equal in the eyes of God, save through piety. It may have been due to this fact that such occurrences take place, even today.

The Quran invites humanity to believe in the truth, which is faith in the one true God (monotheism). Although there is no compulsion in accepting this truth, it does not mean that polytheism is condoned. Those who associate partners with God, cannot be accepted into Paradise. This however does not give Muslims the right to force Islam down other people's throats, as one of the requirements of accepting Islam as the way of life is sincerity.

Islam teaches us that man was created to submit to the will of God. We are neither equal nor partners, let alone be his children, be it literally or metaphorically. We are essentially His slaves. Muhammad (Peace and Blessings upon him) in this respect was the best example of a slave of God. That is why Muslims around the world try to emulate him.

A slaves submits for two basis reason:
1. Fear - fear of pain.
2. Gain
God the Almighty does respects this Master & slave relation but what is more dear to God is a Love relation (Father & Son relation). It was this reason that God gave man the free will factor. It is love that makes man Ishraf-ul Mukhlikat even Greater than the Angels.
That said: A faithful sevant is much more acceptable to God then a unfaithful son.
I have total respect for your prophet but all Muslims worship him.

1. Fear (of Allah's Wrath)
2. Hope (of Allah's Mercy)
Yes, Allah fashioned us as the best of creation, with free will. I also agree, a faithful servant is much more acceptable to God than a unfaithful servant (not son).

Your query about the print of Muhammad's (PBUH) name is very interesting. It's a mere print, and its size and placing does not symbolize status or degree. From personal experience, the Kaabah is embroidered with verses from the Quran and 'Allah' only.
If you look at many other mosques, not only do they print Muhammad, but many of the rightly guided caliphs too. This in no way worships Muhammad. I agree with you, emulate him, not imitate him!

A person can get away for taking negative for Allah but one word against Mohammad and hell breaks loose. Muslim worship Mohammad more than Allah. Dear friend, this was the great departure of analogies in the two holy scriptures. The father-son relationship to God in the Bible as opposed to the master-slave relationship to God in the Quran. Both imply the meanings metaphorically, not literally. Both are perfectly acceptable, as long as the true meanings are understood. We are not physically His sons, neither are we physically His slaves. As God does not give birth to children, nor does he require slaves to do His work.

Jesus is referred to as Eesa ibn Maryam (Jesus son of Mary) in the Quran. However, in many instances, Jesus is also referred to as Al-Maseeh Eesa ibn Maryam (The Messiah Jesus son of Mary).
Therefore all Muslims must believe that Jesus is the Messiah.
