I remember there was a TV clip from Japan special (about 45min long) upon which an analysis was made on available TV footage of the assasination. One remarkable study was made on the chronological order of sound analysis from the door up to the time when the late senator laid prostrate. A Japanese forensic expert also presented his findings as consistent with NA shot while on the stairs (downward trajectory). Hope you can find this clip and post it here.

That being said, I don't believe Bailen is a ballistics expert. However, the reenactment does leave more questions answered. If Ninoy was shot on the stairwell, why was there no spatter there? They could not have been out on the plot to kill Ninoy. Hindi lang sila ang triggerman.

It was really sad that the actual shooting of Ninoy wasn't captured on film like those of JFK some 20 years earlier. Kung may actual video sana, at least ang inaatupag nalang maresolba ay kung sino ang mastermind.

Prof. Bailen believes that Ninoy was shot by Galman in an upward trajectory behind the left ear and exiting at the right side of the temple, which contradicts the autopsy reports saying it was downward, shown by the bullet's actual exit wound on Ninoy's chin!

That the entry wound is upward is not in dispute. What everyone disagrees about is whether or not the fatal shot was fired at close range. Usually, that's determined by GSR at the wound entrance, but in Ninoy's case, the credibility of all evidence is shot.

On that note, it's easy to forget that Prof. Bailen is one of the country's leading forensic anthropologists. I find it sad that we're willing to cast disparaging remarks on a person's character only because he has a contrary opinion.

Pero kung titingnan mo uli ang sequence, yung Ninoy actor ay hindi naka-open arms pagbagsak nya sa tarmac, whereas we all know that Ninoy's arms were outstretched when he fell dead. Also, maitim ang actor na ginamit nila at payat.
