@thesliotar Hey there, A few guys have asked what I mean by 'Private Remaster'... It's just a term I've used for a while on any albums/tracks I've tweaked myself at home. I don't think there's any Husker Du remasters on the horizon, and for the past few years I've worked on this album myself, just tweaking the sound using commercially available software. Okay, so ripping the old CD and adding EQ is hardly remastering, but it's definitely an improvement over the terrible original CD!
@zararity I don't care what you call it, man, it's fantastic. Very well done. Sounds so crisp and sharp compared to the tapped-off-the-vinyl copy I originally heard it on when I was a kid.
Sounds so much better than my old CD copy on SST.Great personal remaster!

Sounds great!
Sorry if you've answered this pal but what does 'private remaster' mean to us lay folk? What are you mastering from? Would love to know more. Cheers

@MrBanjo Thanks a lot mate! Compared to my first copy of this album which was an SST tape that was almost chewed up to hell, this is miles ahead ;)
