  • Whoever invented the Shoryuken motion can SUCK MY DICK.

  • on the 360 thumbstick theres 20 ways to do a srk motion in ssf4 but a perfect srk motion in mvc3 gives you a fireball.i think its foward, down,an exact location between down and down foward not yet discovered by man

  • Comment removed

  • what is this i dont even..

  • You want a hadouken? SHURYUUUCAN!!

  • So this is why I always get cannon spike when I want spiral arrow?! Understood

  • what you tryingto do?

  • The problem is you picked Ryu but they designed the motion for Ken players. Sadly it's still possible to press a button with Ken and get an attack other than a SRK, perhaps Capcom will fix this in a future update and make is so that every possible joystick or button input results in a SRK.

  • Why did you keep restarting the practice round? Does this only happen the first time in a round?

  • especially for beginners

that explain why there is random SRK flying around

  • @9Cheff1 >IGN

Yeah you should probably stop playing video games.

  • who doesn't want a shoryuken?

  • @studystrike if you want to hadouken and shoryu by accident, you can be in a world of trouble.

  • @studystrike People who don't play as Ken.

  • how did you do down forward motion to make it come out with a srk? LOL

  • LOL super easy to do Shoryuken recoveries = <3

  • @9Cheff1lol IGN just saying that makes your logic invalid. It's called having a mind of your own and not relying on other people's opinions. Yet I forget you must be too much of a mook to pick a game that you think might be good instead of being told what is "good".

  • That shouldn't be the case @ 0:30 . There should be fireball popped out after that dıwn forward punch inputs.

  • thats the shit that makes me fked in online fights

  • Its called making the game easier so that retards can still have fun. Dur. Ever hear of handicaps?

  • I play Bison and quite a few times I was able to do a c.mk, mk scissors pressing mk only once...

  • @brotherzero SF4 has a mechanic where releasing the button can be used in lew of an input. In other words you could do a hadoken and keep holding a punch button, do the motion again and release it to do another. This is probably what happened to make that work.

  • Comment removed

  • some of those moves arent ridiculous. capcom wanted to make the game more accessible to younger players ( aka easier) so they simplified the shoryuken motion so its easier to do. i think they did this with a few other moves with other characters too. all u need to do is tap the analog stick diagonal down forward (in between down and forward) and punch and the shoryuken comes out.

  • What's the name of the song and artist?

  • @iseeu1980 The Pull - Closer

  • what. a. gay. song.

  • 0:30 wut?

  • Alright for does of you who care the Artist and title of the song is

    The Pull - Closer

  • READ CAREFULLY

I've noticed a lot of people have been asking on the Artist and name of this song, you should give the correct title and Artist of this song please.

    It's not The west Exit/Interlude No.2

  • @danzeva if i say danzaiver,what do u say?

  • 128 persons too dumb to figure out what this vid is about...

Street4 is really ugly and awful and i played it...

I am back to 3 and alpha.

  • pretty sure most of the new fighters have this bullshit, unfortunately...

  • stfu all of you, SSFIV is perfect as it is

  • @Proupin

It's better than SSF4AE that's for sure, but not perfect.

  • @Proupin I agree with you 100%

  • LOL you seem surprised... noob friendly means that SRK should be done as quickly and easily as possible.

  • soy fome mono qliao

  • /watch?v=TVHIAedaREA

  • Ok i know alot of people are probably asking this but I have to know, what is the name of this song it is totally awesome?

  • Actually review have recalled a game before. Once upon a time, there was once a game so horrible, that all copies were recalled and destroyed. That game was, "ET". True story.

  • The PS3 wouldn't be around if reviews truly mattered.

  • Also back in the day gamers were outcasts, geeks, fatties, you name it.....it's only now where you can play your way and NOT be judged.

  • Yt fucked up my comment...

    Ok let me finish it.

because some asshole gave you a bad review the day before it goes out doesn't happen, and will never happen.

  • just watch your inputs son ;)

  • if they programmed it properly, that woudl mean a) people would learn the moves and b) people wud take better care of their gamepads..........no more d pad abuse :/ use the joystick >:D

  • donk

  • You should do Forward, Down-Back, Forward, Back + Punch. It'll do a DP. -_-

  • actually.. fwd dwn fwd is one of th basic for me to making that z motion lol

  • This is why you don't play stupid shotos.

Play a character with some imagination, and maybe you won't have to worry about accidental SRK's...

OR you can just not have terrible execution, and you'll never get accidental inputs.

    Just an idea..

  • @Xtal0 Did you happen to see the inputs that were being put in? They weren't Shoryuken, but it was doing it. So obviously the execution isn't a factor here.

  • @Xtal0 Yes, because only shotos have srk motions.

  • @pyrotek7x7 - Through the sarcasm, I can think of at least one character who uses the Z command - Yun uses it for that attack with his back. I'm pretty sure Yang uses it too, with a different move. Aaaaand then there's so many of the Hyper Combos in the MVC series (Level 3s mostly) using the Z command then two attack buttons, such as Amaterasu's Divine Instruments (which itself is an uppercut from the Solar Flare to start, then Tundra Beads to whip and Thunder Edge to finish them off.)

  • @FieraDevilWings Yeah, it was definitely sarcasm. Other characters in SSF4 that have SRK motions that are rarely considered "shotos" include: Fei Long, T. Hawk, Zangief, Cammy, Abel, Adon, Viper, Dhalsim, Dudley, El Fuerte, Gen, Gouken, Guy, Ibuki, Makoto, Rose, and Rufus.

Anyway, I find it pretty humorous that people like Xtal0 that apparently hate "shotos" so much play Street Fighter at all.

  • @pyrotek7x7 - Indeed. I mean, Street Fighter is practically all ABOUT the SRK/Hado commands and/or attacks similar to them (almost all characters have some kind of uppercut that lifts them off the ground, or a projectile of some sort)

  • @FieraDevilWings

sounds like your speaking for all street fighter games. in that case, please be quiet. The real problem is slowed down, unbalanced bullshit in most games, like SF4, SSF4, MVC3, and Soul Calibur IV. Go Tekken 6, Go HD Remix, and Go Mortal Kombat 9.

  • @FugeesTheScore - Slowed down?

Two words to that (in Street Fighter's case):

    SUPER TURBO

As for your Unbalanced Bullshit case, there are ways to get around. That's why Capcom release several versions of the same game - the community's input serves as their revision grounds as the best of the best test out the characters before the world receives it. For MvC3's case, there are also ways to get around them broken characters. 1: Learn their tricks. 2: Everyone'll be on the same train anyway.

  • @FieraDevilWings

yeah, THAT'S STREET FIGHTER 2. DEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPP. NOT SF4. NEVER SAID i HATED STREET FIGHTER 2. I refer you to the video, Super Street Fighter 4 and Why It Blows, and Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and why it bites EXPLAINS ALL REASONS WHY THEY ARE PIECES OF SHIT.

  • @FugeesTheScore - I was saying about your slowed down comment.

You DO realise that I said Super Turbo 'cause that was the fastest gameplay for its time?

And dude, you realise that MvC3's designed around swift gameplay where the top players can take you out in a matter of seconds if you're not careful?

SFIV's speed in gameplay is equivalent to that of 3rd Strike, I'd say.

  • @FieraDevilWings

except, MvC3 IS STILL TO SLOW, as the animations are too fucking long, the game's graphic engine looks like if Legend of Zelda Windwaker and Pokemon's graphics engine had fucked, but given birth to such a simpering obnoxious pussy they fed him anabolic steroids till he was 27, and the game is in a disgusting, HIGH CONTRAST, plus the broken BS of some characters and how, unlike other MVC games, when you get hit IT ACTUALLY HURTS. Ugh, & your Super Turbo comment makes no sense.

  • @FugeesTheScore - Wait waitwaitwaitwait.

...oh never mind, did I speak too fast for you?

Also, there's a wonderful word. It's called "SKIP"

    Try it sometime.

As I will do to you now.

  • @pyrotek7x7 - To say another comment, perhaps to sum it up, Street Fighter's most easy-to-learn and/or hardest-to-master characters are almost completely centred around the Hado/SRK motions. There are some which are different, obviously - Guile, while having excellent recovery from his Sonic Boom, has to hold back on the input if he wants to shoot off another (the tradeoff, of course, to keep from spamming even faster than the Hadouken due to its recovery time).

  • @FieraDevilWings

no such thing as spamming against the Pros.

  • @FugeesTheScore - I know THAT part at least. The whole point of that comment was to summarise the basis of the Street Fighter controls as well as deviations - to which I pointed out about Guile's Sonic Boom (and the tradeoff from other projectiles due to its command and recovery).

Spam is nonexistent with pros, obviously - projectiles are designed with spacing in mind (new ones and/or regular players who don't worry about tournaments won't know what this means)

  • @Xtal0 another noob complaining about fireball spamming....SHUTUP

  • if you crouch and press twice d/f d/f you get a srk

  • if you crouch and press d/b d/b twice you will get a shoryuken

  • yeah I noticed the moves in sf4 are a lot easier to do than on 3 third strike, you have to actually do the move unlike sf4 you just act like you do the move and it always works, lol

  • well if you have a fight stick all you have to do is double tap ↘ and you do it.

  • The fireball was only on Ken's

  • Isint the last one correct?

  • @Brandon5l9 No, the input for a shoryuken is →↓↘P and a hadouken is ↓↘→P, thus the forward in the end should in a hadouken instead

  • @jackmcslay Actually, the last one is correct, I've done this on multiple occasions, it's forward followed by a hadoken's input, it usually results in a Shoryuken, because it's reading a →↓↘ before it's reading a Hadoken ↓↘→. I can't remember the video, but someone pointed out that this is the reason it works.

  • @jackmcslay if the input has hadoken and shoryuken overlapped. The game will always prioritize shoryuken. I thought this was in most of the Capcom fighters and not just SF4

  • I still input the classic motion cuz I played SFA3 for the longest time...

  • Hey guys guess what? The next street fighter you only have to press the light punch for hadokens and medium punch for ultras. Also if you really suck ass at it you can fill a hyperbollicextreme meter wich kills your oponent instantly. Just tried marvel vs capcom 3 and noticed that is like tatsunoko vs capcom... jeez.... i really miss the old good days playing xmen vs street fighter on the arcades, 6 button as a king.

  • lol@ person who doesn't realize that marvel 3 is still a 6 button game.

  • @TranceCore3 - That would be Low, Medium, Strong, Special, Assist 1 and Assist 2. Right?

Then the extras can be used for more difficult commands (and by default they use the dash motion, which is L+M+S, and Assist 1 + Assist 2 for crossover combos)

  • Waiting for @ArkaneX to get to their point...

  • @Alphilles3922 Balls.

  • @ArkaneX - I thought that was the format for all Capcom VS games involving Marvel (and by extension Tatsunoko).

  • I hate going for cr.mk - hadouken and getting cr.mk - random srk

  • @Cressx iv resently started doing that

  • @Cressx all you have to do to avoid that is crouch with down back rather than just down when performing the mk

  • This is SF4, I'm pretty sure they tighten up the controls for SSF4.

  • I just usually wiggle down diagonal forward until he does one. Works every time.

  • WTF dude ?

  • I believe I am one of the best players around today, I cant be noticed because I live in a shit reservation above the arctic circle.

  • @PatrikConway Cool story bro

  • Yeah a shitty thing that happens to me is that, i do lets say Crouching Medium Kick to fireball ... I FADC the Fireball walk foward and i try to do a Crouching HARD Punch to combo to a TATSU it gives me the fucking shoryuken... so that sucks.

  • SF used to be a nice challenge that needed skill. Now its button masher paradise. I am just old enough to remember the coin operated arcades where you had to really be on your game to win. And there were no energy bar destroying supermoves as surprising. Still a great game series but just a whole different methodology now.

  • Like I keep saying, capcom have noobiefied SF for years now.

    Its a joke.

The ultra system is the biggest joke, you are rewarded one for getting beat, so you onnly need to land one MOVE, to your opponent whose skillfully chipping you away.

The whole forumal and ethics of SF have gone to shit. It started with ST, but at least its not as bad. Ryu/Balrog super aside.

  • @Jamerio3D Thank you dood. I said the same thing and my friends thought I was crazy. The ultra systems is broken; Ultra's are either broken as all hell, completely useless or you need to do a focus attack combo for them to even land. I miss the good days where you earned your win. They swore up and down that SF3 also SFA3 had cheap tracks. Also they were more broken then SF4 I swear some people are idiots...

  • @ExeErdna

Most modern gamers are idiots and games are made for them, for old school street fighter players who were brought up with a sensible risk/reward scenario they think the same.

Modern Street Fighter has become like a bad arcade racing game with catchup, why? becuase modern gamers don't have the drive to really get good at something, so the developers make the game for that mentality, whereas before games were made for gamers, not the mainsteam masses that sadly count for most sales.

  • @Jamerio3D Too bad most of the mainstream doesn't give a shit about a game. If a game gets 1 bad review they'll cancel preorders. If not that they'll burn through a game without really enjoying it then try to return it within a week so they can get all their money back. Then the real idiots are the ones that buy into stupid marketing gimmicks just to seem "cool". I really do miss the days when gaming was underground where you and game your own way and not be judged by the masses.

  • @ExeErdna The Halo way.

  • @ExeErdna

Fucking Faggots. Faggots= some kind of hateful, undefinable insult. Off subject a bit but guess what? Mainstream, for the most part, is pure garbage, in nusic, television, and games. Its usually popular for the wrong reasons. No I'm not a hipster. Anyway, there are still some serious fans in fighting games on Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix, and I suppose the really high skill players on SSF4 are real fans who ACTUALLY PLAYED THE ORIGINAL SFs. Anyways, I would say, HDR> SSF4.

  • @ExeErdna man, youre totally right

  • @ExeErdna What the fuck are you talking about? No game has ever been in circulation (Preorders are set dates, assuming it's not delayed) and taken back because of a bad review. All games get back reviews and stopping millions of dollars of investment because some asshole gave you a bad review a bad review the day before it goes out (Remember reviews aren't done months months before it's out)

  • @kikook222 I'm talking about those Day 1 reviews that can and have killed games. Most think since it gotten a few bad opinions it must be bad and then they say screw it. I'll watch it on YT or somewhere else. And you must have forgot about the Final Fantasy 13-14 reviews from Japan that poisoned the minds of rest of the world's players.

  • @ExeErdna I've never seen a review hurt a game. FF13 sold extremely well and tha'ts all that matters. FF14 was a completely bad game, nobody bought it because what they saw from the trailers/gameplay wasn't very appealing.

Look back at the origonal PS3 games, they were reviewed harshly (much harder than they should have been) while the xbox couldn't make a bad game, despite a lot of shitty games they made and got good reviews for (Halo 3, saved because of Multi)

  • @ExeErdna lol u had underground gaming? how sad is that?

  • @killer500000000000 I think he meant literally underground, as in the parent's basement.

  • @ExeErdna - HAHAHA! Sorry but the last part.. Not judged by the masses.. Either you lived in an Utopia or you never really were a gamer back then. I have always ALWAYS been judged because I played games <.<

  • @ExeErdna I've been a gamer my whole life. It seems to me that being a gamer now is far more widely accepted than it was 10 years ago. Every man and his dog now either plays COD or some form of EA sports game religiously. Its becoming a part of modern society and its great. Don't hate the world because your 400kg and you fashion sense is still stuck in the early 1090's because that's the last time you went outside.

  • @peetzillA When and where did I say I hate the world. Also everybody playing one popular game doesn't mean gaming is a accepted as a whole. There's way more games then just COD and EA sports. Yeah gaming is becoming more apart of modern society. Yet gaming isn't evolving when you see concept clones and the same shit every 12 to 18 months or so.

  • @ExeErdna I play games and then trade them in within a couple weeks. But that doesn't mean i'm not enjoying it. some games have amazing stories that you can really get into and spend 20-30 hours in. but after you're done there really is no replay value sometimes. with me, it doesn't happen often but it does. LA Noire for example. I loved that game so much. but knowing it didn't have different endings and no matter how shitty you did same thing happend gave no replay motivation.

  • ... as for the people that trade after one bad review. I know someone like that... that's just ridiculous. play the game for yourself and make you're own judgement. i've loved games that weren't that greatly reviewed before and vice versa. so don't just blindly go by what you read.

  • @ExeErdna Thats called Pokemon

  • @ExeErdna I agree. You're 100% Right

  • WTF !!!!!!!!!!

  • Forward, Down, Forward + P. Fuck is this Easy Mode bullshit.

  • wait you mean that pressing a button before i do a shoryuken doesnt cancel my shoryuken?! bullshit I say!

  • I find that the executions for the attacks just add another unwarranted wall between the player and the actual gameplay as opposed to Soulcalibur for example. That's my two cents.

  • The people who thumbed up this video probably have NEVER played Street fighter.

  • The effects of buffers/negative edge extend to all characters. Example: I main Ibuki, and I love stringing together counterhit pokes at sweeping distance. If I see a Ryu about to throw out a cr.MK (one of Ryu's safest normals), I know I can shut it down with Ibuki's f.MK or f.HK. But if I try to input these from a crouching position, even with a celan input, I end up doing her command dash, eating the cr.MK and whatever combo that follows. This really screws my mizup game sometimes. :\

  • k f, d p was just bs.

  • Are you playin it on Xbox? cuz i had the same problem..

    ps3 controller is more responsive...

  • The only times I've ever done a Shoryuken on accident is back in the old days when I didn't know the move set. Sure, I've had bad SRK timings, but never on accident once I found out how to do it (unless I just had a bad controller)

  • not rediculous because SF4 usses buffers so it still comes out if you press punch a little late

  • It's like Begineer Mode is permanently on.

  • I would prefer motions as hard to do as they were in ST as you got what you tried to do not fireball instead of SRK.

  • so stupid ur gettin Shoryuken Mixed up with Hadukin, to do the fireball you have to use the left analoug stick use it in a 'Z' Motion from left to right and press square of circcle after the Z Motion

  • @DonPredz No, the hadouken is a quarter circle forward motion. The shouryuken is the z-motion move. Oh wait, you're a troll who knows that.

  • @DonPredz trololo. hadoken/hadouken*

and its a quarter circle foward.

    shoryuken is foward, down, foward+down.

  • you forgot the the input all "pros" use which is down forward, down forward, Punch.

  • @xDarkBusterx i found out about that one

you can do infinite shoryukens by simply mashing the bottom right of the d-pad and punching

  • do you kno that f u hold a button and the realese it after doing a spec move motion it will register as a button press so u can shoot hadokens twice as fast.. they need to fix this

  • @xXNEWKiDPRODiGYXx sorry to rain on your parade son...but its called "negative edge" plus it doesnt really make hadoukens faster because every move has specific recovery frames, active, start up frames, which make moves only as fast as the programmers want them to be. Negative edging is in other games...plus C.Viper, makoto,el fuerte, and other chars require NE to do their advanced moves. What needs to be fixed are the stupid SRK motions though...its a sunday i got a lot of time onmyhands^_^

  • the input leniancy in sf4 and ssf4 is fucking ridiculous.

  • AARON RODGERS DOES THIS MOVE MUCH BETTER.

  • this relaxed motion shit better not be in 3rd strike when they release it on xbox live arcade im tired of my moves super cancleing whenever i try a crouching attack into dragon punch motion

  • so thats why fucking scrub kens keep upercutting me

  • @lilgoldfish No, they are try to uppercut you every time.

  • the song ?

  • God I cant stop laughing at your SN. But yea, its all bs.

  • Kate Bush rules!!!

  • there's nothing ridiculous about this. The wierd one was the second to last command and that could've been a minor error in whatever records the controller inputs in training mode...

  • nice song wats it called......?

  • na. of. song. plz

  • The down forward one is awful. It's giving me unwanted shoruykens all the time :/

  • lol i love that down forward one.

  • The only one that got me was the third one..that was too much lol

  • Name of the song?

  • @LiangHuBBB Look at the download link in the gray area under the video info.

  • to avoid srk while walking forward coz u wanna do a fireball i do the qcf till the up forward direction and it works fine for me

  • what a moron, pressing forward before round starts makes it work as a shoryuken but its not always displayed in training mode that you pressed forward.

i rate this bad, but it would be 1 star with the old system.

here is how you do the moves

hadouken aka dragon fire: crouch-crouch forward-forward-punch

shoryuken aka dragon punch: forward-crouch-crouch forward- punch (can work even if you add a forward before punch)

obviously he was pressing forward before the round started.

  • nice song

  • fuck capcom making this game so easy for scrubs

  • Inputting before the round even starts.

    0/10 Troll.

  • its because you can input commands before the round starts. I do it all the time with guile's sonic boom and a bunch of other shit.

  • theres also "df, df P" "d, df, d"

    its leniency

  • forward --> down --> p = shoryuken? o_O

  • Well this is bullshit, when there is the "Round 1" screen you can already input the shit for SRK but it wont show on the input box on the left.

  • that Down forward Srk is just bs

  • i seriously hate walking forward and then trying to do a hadouken and getting a shoryuken instead.

  • WTF is !!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????

  • Whats the name of the song playing in the background?

  • Kate Bush??

  • 0:40 u walk forward that means FORWARD + hadouken motion = shoryuken

  • what song is this? i like it

  • @Akuma72 - LOL fag, you'll be bumping this in your car? Hahahahahahahaha

  • @DJSIQRIQ shoot lol I forgot I even left this comment here, and PSHH don't be hating

  • @Akuma72 xD My bad, I didnt wanna sound mean.

  • That's Stupid...that really messes it up to the players who can perform the move!!!!
