  • Totally handing out those pamphlets next halloween like those crazy christians that hand out religious pamphlets.

  • I thought it was 75 trillion years ago, albeit a timeframe no scientist actually acknowledge.

  • im curious whether hubbard was raped by a psychiatrist as a child, why else would he be so paranoid about ALL of them. what a freak

  • 2) vaguely resembling a rat, believed in these gods b/c they had the body thetans placed in them which had seen the video of the gods. lmfao

  • Conclusion: Tom Cruise is fucking crazy.

  • I didn't know these shows were this old (6.5 years old). This show is from 10 July 2005.

  • umm either science ficton story started when gigantosaurus ruled 95 mill. or albertasaurus ruled 75 mill. years ago

  • All religion is absurd.

But this takes it to unbelievable new heights.

"Space planes that looked exactly like DC8s"

(except with "rocket moters")? A quasi-godlike quasi-creator who uses H-bombs? Souls being forced to watch bad movies?."Thetans"? (which, coincidently, one must spend vast sums of money to get rid of)...

One could argue that if an adult is imbicilic enough to fall for a religion based on science-fiction, founded by a science-fiction author, that they deserve what they get.

  • @SinnFein4ever totally agree XD

  • i gotta be honest. the "book battle field earth" was actually really good. very long and very well written. the movie sucked. but being a fan of the book, i still think scientologist are crazy fuckers.

  • @5:55 kind of sounds like a religion based only in the belief of souls but not anything supernatural other then that and not ruling god figure. interesting, probably more plausible then a god who makes rules he has 2 break by impregnating someone with himself so he can sacrifice himself 2 himself but only 4 a few days and still in order 2 hav most people stay in the roasting pits. yeah, still more unlikely

  • lol @ church of scientology video under "promoted video"

  • I've released my body theatans simply by listening to this video!!!!!

    Thank you!!!

  • Scientology isn't a religion - it's a bad science fiction novel. Oh wait - so is the Bible!

  • IMO scientology is a status-symbol - people are members simply because it's EXPENSIVE; they don't care what it is, just the fact that riff-raff like us aren't allowed in.

  • Come on? This is a joke right? People don't believe this shyte, they can't be this far gone mentally.

  • @sdacrowe the way I understand it, people have to pay a lot of money to learn this "special knowledge" and the actual indoctrination message is slightly less crazy. I think that once they reach this level of crazy they've been so fully brainwashed that they'll buy just about anything LRH says as they build him up as this prophet. it's just sad and pathetic IMHO...

  • @deejayalemus There's that, and also an element of shame. You either swallow it (or pretend to) because you don't want to admit these people have been scamming you for years. And if you do back out, they have the Charlie Sheen "Already got your money, dude" thing going for them, plus in some of the "counseling sessions," they get you to tell embarrassing secrets about yourself, and they threaten to use them against you if you speak negatively about the organization. You're in for life.

  • @gspendlove That's what I understand as well. The more I look for the abuses of this cult, the more stories I find. It's like kicking an anthill of crazy. As someone who grew up in a branch of Armstrongism, I know first hand how people are quite unwilling to let go of deeply held belief structures.

  • I tried reading Battlefield Earth. The story was decent but I bored around the 400th page when I saw I wasn't half done.

  • Wait.. I.. I think I have to listen to that again. It was too ridiculous to fit into my head the first time.

  • weired how they just sit there during the intro........kind of creepy

  • ad on the side asked me to become a pastor

  • Come on! No one could believe this BS

  • I always chuckle when i hear the name "Xenu".

  • I love how christians think their BS is some how "better" than Scientology...

  • @BlameRepublicans It happens all the time, I understand that THEY think that. They have to, or they wouldn't stay Christians. The part that makes me laugh is that they assume WE are going to agree.

"So," I would ask, "Your ridiculous nonsense is less ridiculous and less nonsensical than their ridiculous nonsense?... I just want to make sure I got it right."

  • Scientologist should have added nibiru into the story. I think I'm going to start my own religion.. aparently there is a bunch of money in it haha

  • If some people actually believe that story... I'm starting my own cult!

  • Haha... psychiatrists helped Xenu get people in for income tax inspections... Really?

  • Um wow. This is word for word the way South Park described it ... I thought they were overembellishing like they always do, they were just reading from a pamphlet? Whoever believes this shit and pays good money for it must be incredibly stupid ...

  • atheists and theists are retarded.

  • @kennykiller911 Everybody's retarded?

  • @lordlacolith no, there are medians between extreme oposites

  • @kennykiller911 If you believe in god(s), you are a theist. If not, you are an atheist. That's what the words mean.

  • @lordlacolith so what's a deist?

  • @wideheadofknowledge A deist is someone who believes that there was a God (usually one, never really heard of a polydeist) that created the universe and started everything going, but since then has stood out of the affairs of the universe and does not intervene at all. So it's a type of theism. Although I should mention that I have heard "theist" refer to belief in an interventionary God(s), as distinct from a deist. Under that definition, everyone is either a theist, deist, or atheist.

  • @lordlacolith

You were misled then. You are correct about deist, except that it's not a third choice.

Every deist is a theist, but not every theist is a deist.

All theist means is belief in god, or gods. It tells you no attributes of god.

    A denotes "without".

Atheist = Without belief in god or gods.

  • @JamesCizuz No, it's a matter of definition. It's sometimes useful to distinguish between a personal, interventionary God and an impersonal, non-interventionary God. But most of the time, yes, deism is a subset of theism.

  • @lordlacolith

Oh alright, thought you were saying it was the middle way, i'm alright with that then.

  • @lordlacolith

This confusion happens with agnostic to. Which is also not a third choise.

Gnostic/Agnostic are a subset on knowledge of god.

Theist/Atheist are a subset on belief of god.

Gnostic = Absolute knowledge of god.

Agnostic = Without absolute knowledge of god.

If you believe in a god, you are theist, anything else including "I don't know, or unsure" are atheist. Deist is a religion in the sense that it is a external belief system about god.

  • @JamesCizuz I'm not sure why you're addressing this to me, since it's pretty much what I had said above...

  • @wideheadofknowledge theism |ˈθēˌizəm|

    noun

belief in the existence of a god or gods, esp. belief in one god as creator of the universe, intervening in it and sustaining a personal relation to his creatures. Compare with deism .

    deism |ˈdēizəm|

    noun

belief in the existence of a supreme being, specifically of a creator who does not intervene in the universe. The term is used chiefly of an intellectual movement of the 17th and 18th centuries...

  • @kennykiller911 Oh no.. Its Derpzilla..

  • @OlyJeebus he asked if everyone was retarded because i said 2 extremes were retarded. i gave him an anser. youre retarded.

  • @kennykiller911 Like Lordlacolith perfectly explained.

Not believing in God makes you an atheist.

Believing in God, or some higher power(s) makes you a theist.

Now, if you're not either of those you are probably some agnostic derp that believes Derik Ogilvy and Char truly have the ability to talk with spirits.

  • parts 1 and 3 are fine, but part 2 is not working for me :(

  • @SpoiledLogic - Just tried it there now myself and its working for me. Maybe try a different browser? I tried it in both Firefox 2.0 and Opera

  • @1rishShaman Oh it's working now. Thank you!

  • So a votebot is a bot that gives a ton of dislikes?

  • I can't imagine what was in the pictures the Scientologists had on the IRS Dircetor in order to grant them tax-exempt status.

  • SOUTH PARK!!!!!

  • No wonder he stop writing books and formed a cult... he was crap!!!!!

  • I reckon HP Lovecrafts Cthulu would fuck Xenu up

  • part's two and three have about half the views and positive ratings of part one, but apart from three ratings exactly the same amount of negative ratings... votebot anyone?

  • L Con Hubbard was a science-fiction writer...

Hmm, what's the difference with believing in The Matrix and being a Scientologist?

  • @FunkyWhitePimp - The Matrix believers wear bitchin' leather coats.

  • @FunkyWhitePimp

    the matrix has you!!!!!!!!!!

ALL HAIL AND FOLLOW THE WHITE RABBIT!!!

  • @FunkyWhitePimp I would argue that the Matrix is LESS far fetched.

  • Didn't Xenu make a cameo on Deep Space Nine? From what I recall, the Dominion kicked his ass!

  • FUnkaaayh!

  • No no no, it was Captain Picard who pissed into the amino acids causing life to spring up :-)

  • I think people just join Scientology and pretend to believe it to get attention.

  • even christianity is more plausible!!!!

  • @atheistthinks Not really >_>

  • @AngilasGuy i know christianity is not plausible... but how can someone with a brain believe this scientology shit?

  • @atheistthinks B/c they slowly sucker you into it. Beginning with personality tests that will inevitably show how messed up and in need of help you are. Their help, of course...

  • that really is.....possibly the dumbest story ever told

i started drooling and zoning off around 5:05

  • Battlefield Earth was so bad. I watched it during a bad movie night and fell asleep 3 times.

  • did xenu die?

  • "didn't you say he was a science fiction writer?"

    and a damn good one!

  • I dont think Lord Xenu had much of a choice. He had to do what he did. I know its easy for us in this day in age Xenu bash, but you dont know what it was like for him. Im just saying that maybe the scientologists are lying about lord Xenu, maybe he was not as evil as they claim

  • @Salment oh great a xenu apologist.

  • @Salment Hahahahaha! Oh were you serious? HAHAHAHAHA!!! XD

  • I just dont understand how can anyone take that story seriously.

  • The only thing is-- I thought the dogma said all this was 75 TRILLION years ago, not 75 million. (And yeah, I know the universe hasn't been around that long.)

  • The only thing missing from this video is the caption

THIS IS WHAT SCIENTOLOGIST ACTUALLY BELIEVE!

  • I am really curious to watch Battlefield Earth, is it really that bad?

  • @raminsh1 Yes, it really is. I was thinking the same thing you are until I saw it on tv a couple weeks ago. Easily John Travolta's worst movie. He, as well as Forrest Whitaker, over-act the hell out of there characters.

  • @raminsh1 BATTLEFIELD: EARTH is not the worst movie ever-- It is the worst THING ever!

  • @GoblinXXX LOL...he imdb rating is 2.3/10...spectecular rating, and very hard to acheive I suppose!

  • @raminsh1 That's actually considerably better that it deserves. I imagine it was artificially inflated by Scientologists, just like sales of DIANETCS are.

  • Battle Field Earth was a great book. The movie sucked ass.

  • Battlefield earth sucked! A completely forgetable movie.

  • Comment removed

  • That sounds pretty fucking scary to me.

  • A cinema full of soles? Sounds a bit fishy!

  • HA ha. ...and with the help of psychiatrists...hmmm

    I love that bit.

  • Atheists FTW!!

  • Who in their right mind would buy this absolute shit. I'd sooner become a christian than even a scientologist. The bible and christian god is riddled with falacies, but even that I'd take on board over this folly.

  • Kudos on speaking out against Scientology.

Just an off note, Matt needs to get his hair cut. He's starting to look like Mike Mcshane

  • This is a 5 year old video

  • Maybe, but my comment is 8 months old and the upload is 10 months old.

Your comment is only 1 hour old.

    Anything you'd like to add?

  • Yes. 8 months ago or 2 years ago, this video is still 5 years old. He obviously has cut his hair.

  • No shit Sherlock! 10 points for pointing out the frigging obvious!

  • Thank you.

  • In case you missed it, see below.

  • Thanks.

  • Oh no. Thank you.

  • You're quite welcome.

  • Did it ever occur to you that I live in a country that doesnt show this on TV and this was about the third or fourth TAA vids i watched on YouTube? No, I guess not. You just wanted to comment on an old comment and be a know-it-all. A slow hand clap, just for you.

  • Douglas Adams wrote a better story : Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy ,

  • @jmm1233 I found more thought provoking passages in H2G2 then I did when I read the bible.

  • @TomMSTie of course DA is awesome

  • @jmm1233 That he is. If you haven't seen it already, there's a long video on here called "Parrots, the Universe and Everything," and it's Douglas giving a talk in Santa Barbara.

  • @jmm1233

lol true, but at least Hubbard's story is way more exciting and magical than the failsauce that is the bible. unfortunately it is equally as false and fictional.

  • @jmm1233 Douglas Adams was also a science fan, atheist and skeptic. ;)

  • @Hyardacil What ??? He Took My Job

lol , i knew that one

  • @jmm1233 Just think of the money we can make telling people that the path to true enlightenment involves giving up all their possessions, buy special towels (from us at incredibly high prices of course), and searching for the answer to the ultimate question!

  • Body Thetans? ......Is this some kind of funny joke? People put their hard earned money into this story? And they actually believe it? No wonder why I'm atheist.

  • It's actually even worse than that. When you are audited, your auditor gets you to give them confidential information about yourself that the Church of Scientology then files away in case they later need to browbeat you with it. It's social engineering at it's worst.

  • What I don't get is that anyone who hears OT3 without $cientology "processing" (processing your credit card) you're supposed to get pneumonia- yet millions have heard OT and..we're still here..even Tommy Davis must be having doubts..surely!
