By the time I noticed back pain the doctor informed me that by the time most men reach age 40 their back muscles are too weak to support their upper body movements. There for your spine has to take up the slack. This isn't good for your spine. When this happens to you life doesn't end. You are just that more aware of all of your movements. You pay more attention to long walks. Sometimes it sucks getting old but the alternative sucks even more.
The "extremes" of the New Mexico climate? What extremes? I lived there for 5 years. Nothing was extreme about New Mexico. Maybe the extreme boredom, but that's about it.
I couldn't help but notice the long entry to the space port. When you have a back injury you notice such things. Most airports today have people moving sidewalks. I suppose they are planning shuttles to and from your car or whatever transportation brings you there.
So...you buy a ticket for $100,000.00 I'm guessing. After a lengthy ride you end up where you started from. Sound's like the tax payers paying for someone dream and salesmanship. My prediction for the future of the space port. 2020 national skate board championship. lol
LoL like NASA is even going to do a Spaceport xD Obama has decided to build a base on the moon by 2024 so the Spaceport is'nt going to be easy or cheap.
I think it will be awesome. I can't even afford to fly commerical airlines now, I am certain at age 49 that space travel will not be a part of my future. I love that something like this is happening though.
@skycop61 well ill put it this way, ten years ago there were 0 commercial space flights, now there are at least 3 companies over the last 5 years that have sprung up. im sure in ten years you could buy a ticket for around 5k. thats not cheap at all but it beats 200,000
they don't have to be, and they're allready building it. virgin galactic have also made agreements with other spaceports, one in sweden as example (spaceport sweden, on google).
my money will b Dubai! one of the princes will want one and build 1 within 2years of this starting/finishing. Though Virgin Galatic are thinking bout 1 in sweden :P
