Believe it or not, he is my great grandfather. I used to call him 'pepe' when he was alive. He died when I was in 2nd grade..I remember in 1st grade I did a poster on who my hero was, I picked him. He still is my hero, even though he has passed. Actually, his couch that was in his hotel in NYC is in my room, a part that can be detached and set as a chair. I'm not gonna say anything else then I am proud to be the great granddaughter of such an amazing man.
Nicely done.... I had the privilege of attending an opening of his work at the Corcoran in DC (early 90's) which subsequently became a traveling exhibit. Was called "Half Past Autumn"...
