Pen Style Atomizers...They can be fixed when they go cold.

Ok, so you cough for 5 minutes, then in the remaining 3 minutes you don't actually tell us any thing but "drop it in soda" "rinse it out with water" maybe some details about fixing a atomizer in a video title such.

you know i didnt like the 801 when i was vaping 3.7v. then i tried it on 5 and 6v and wooo! it rocks the juicy vapes.

Yeah........But here's my problem. I have a 5v mod (prodigy v2) and have had three attys go cold.......When I say cold, I mean, barely sizzle, you can only hear the sizzle if you put it right up to your ear. How can u do a dry burn if the freaking thing won't even get hot. I boiled, soaked in coke, rinsed, repeated, dried, still a majorly weak sizzle at best. What do u do in this case. I have three attys like this.

Love your instructionals, tips and reviews. Do you think you could have had the same or similar results if you didn't have the 3.7v mod battery (i.e. if you used the e-cig battery)? I'm a girl and don't have boy stuff like that lying around so maybe if this is the best way to blow out the gunk after cleaning it, where could I pick up one of those 3.7v 800 mods? :)! I've used that same atomizer on a proper battery...great results. As for the mod, it's part of an electric shaver that I frankensteined.

uhm...Warranty? Who did you have a warranty through? The "warranty" on most atomizers is 14 days because they are consumables...No one hides this fact. You're right, too...This doesn't always work. If the wiring is broken or the nichrome filament isn't intact there's nothing that can be done. I'm also curious as to how a manufacturer or supplier would know that an atomizer had been soaked in a liquid...I mean...they're ALWAYS soaked in liquid, in the form of the nic juice...odd.

The warrenty on a lot of atomizers through the factory is 6months through one year. The fact they are in china american vendors only do 14 days - 30 days because money is involved . If you soak it in soda it eats through the plastic coating on the wires and around the ring doesn't always happen though.

Now ask yourself...is a $10 atomizer worth the shipping cost to get it back to China so they can inspect it for warranty issues? Nah...Not when $.99 worth of RC can fix a hundred of them.

I wouldn't say that only pen style attys can be fixed, that's just what I started with. At this point I've soaked 510, 901, 401 and 801 atomizers with the same results.

I just tried this at home just a few hours ago. I soaked my dse 901 in pepsi for 3 hours and rinsed it with boiling hot water and it came back to life. Thanks for the tip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for all the videos i think i have watched them all. What do you use to cook the Atomizer. You said 800 mah. Is that a cellphone batt? Is it 3.7v? I have tried all mehtods i can think of to clean the Atomizer. soking in soda then steam cleaning with a hissing tea pot works pretty good

YeeHaw!! nice job Terraphon. This is quite a treat as now I can minimize expenses even more!! Mainly not have 2-3 spare atomizers on hand and tossing the ones I think are shot. Which of course I never throw anything away so I believe it's Pepsi time at my pad. Keep up the great videos as these are sooooo helpful. and entertaining.
