Arthur C. Clerk would have found Sri Lanka a Paradise. Yes a paradase for PEDOPHILES. In any other country he would have been locked up.
In a nation without LAWs and CORUPT he lived freely till death. I think he is a great writer. But that does not excuse thousands of boys he molested. Prince Charlesdid not want to even visit him, When found out about Soooo many allegations, Never investigated by Police because of his money. Corrupt Country

petep, Dont throw mud to people.Nobody is perfect. I dont know about his personal life, what I know is his briliant work. He change the world. Is Chalrles with a good character? Michael Jackson? Even you? Is Britain not corrupted? When you point one finger to others three fingers towards you.

tHE POINT IS BE TRUTHFUL. I would call Tahiti, Bali Paradise. Not a god foresaken Island in the Indian Ocean with So Much Problems Paradise.
Get out of your Little world and Travel. You will realize what the world is like. Sri Lanka is No Paradise.

petep, Well, The truth is Sri Lanka is the paradise. I am not the only person who say that. Dr Arthur C Clerk, who proposed satellite communication systems 1941-1946 said many times that Sri Lanka is the paradise on earth. Should people believe you instead Dr Arthur C clerk? He became a citizen of sri lanka and lived untill his death. he refered SL: The Fountain of Paradise (1979) "orbital tower" . Name a single country without problems. America is with so much problems. Detroit, U.S.A is the 5th dengerous city in the world. I have traveled so many countries but I never see a country like Sri Lanka.

165 killed by Dengue fever in Sri Lanka COLOMBO, July 6 (Xinhua) -- The number of dengue deaths has risen to 165 while over 14,000 cases have been reported in Sri Lanka so far from hospitals countrywide, officials from the Department of Government Information said on Monday. This represents a sharp increase as 4,156 dengue cases and 85 deaths were reported for the whole year of 2008.

Whats your goal/point? Yes Sri Lanka is a developing country battered from 30 year Tamil Tiger terrorism and tsunami. Yet it is the paradise in the world.
Shame on your comment, full of resentments. Why not you talk of Swine flu, AIDS, SARS etc? You cant stop people coming to Sri Lanka. Compared to rest of the world Sri Lanka is the best tourist destination rich with culture, heritage, scenic hill country, wild life, nature and awesome beaches.
It is worth visiting!
