No you cant play Super Famicom games on a PAL SNES.
They have the same console and cartridge design but have differant HZ.
Both US SNES and JP SFC (Super famicom) is NTSC 60HZ and its possible to play SFC carts on a US system if you remove the small tabs in the cartridge slot, this is also possible to play US carts on a JP SFC however you need to make the slot wider.
The EU and AU SNES is PAL 50HZ and cant play NTSC carts without a converter.
Your so wrong! What you call the super famicom was actually the super nintendo all over Japan and Europe, seems the us had rubbish ugly looking ones.

I GOT A SUPER NINTENDO
IS IT THE SAME
RobStoj69 2 years ago
It is. Just different looking hardware. If you got a NTSC SNES, all you need is a little modding to play SFC on SNES.

$100 ? That was expensive.

Yeah but to be honest I was kind of expecting more. Like around $400-$500.
