@kevincostnermyhero I think the most epic wasn't actually seeing The great Captain him cry over dead Ianto. I think it's the fact that this man will be living (and already is) for so long with so much pain and death around him, thus he'll never live a happy life.
Ianto Jones, Never just a tea-boy, a respected member of the Torchwood team, Loved by the one and only Captain Jack Harkness. And to top it off, he's as Hot as Hell!!
@DC11961 in one of the children of the earth, 2nd one I think, Ianto told his sister it wasn't men, it was just Jack. So I'd guess he's more of straight-except-with-Jack. Cause there was Lisa in the beginning.

I oficially hate RTD. He creates such great chars and ends up killing them without taking advantage of their potential. Ianto could have done so much more... He was the only person who really loved Jack. And Owen, king of the weevils and Weevils. They never really showed much more of the weevils besides that they are beasts living in sewers. And Own ate some point could be siting in a throne somewhere in a sewer... That would be so much more awesome. And Tosh... Tosh could have been so much more

This is the song that best describes Ianto. He was so calm and sofisticated yet he had the passion for saving the world. Dying while saving the world,he wont ever be forgotten
And after Two years, I have come on 25th April 2011 to listen, cry and remember Ianto for who he was because he was never a blip in time for any of us. He was never JUST the Tea-boy. He was a brave and loved character who we will miss dearly. This ballad pretty much somes him and his death up without using words because that was how is life was. We don't need to tell the story with words. you pretty much see it from his actions. He Lived, He loved and that was his life.

Torchwood isn't going to be the same without Ianto. Though I am grateful to Russell T. Davies for bringing us the beauty that is Torchwood, I also resent his decision for killing off my favorite character.

@TheJacquesmeister Characters die all the time, especially in the sci-fi genre. Move past it and enjoy the show. I can't count the number of times a character I like has died in Doctor Who, Torchwood, Battlestar Galactica, Terminator: SCC, Buffy, or other fantasy/sci-fi shows. Move on.
@RoyalGuard503 Who says I won't try to enjoy the show when the new season comes along? I'm just stating my opinion in saying that Torchwood, for me, is better with Ianto, rather than without him. Not only was that heartless but you obviously have not shared the same love to Ianto that others, myself included have. We all felt pain when he died and yes we know it is a sci-fi television show, but it doesn't mean we can't get upset when one of the best and most loved characters dies.

I'm really excited for the new Torchwood but I just don't know how long I'll be able to watch it. my favourite character on the show was Owen, and they killed him twice, then my second favourite was Ianto and they killed him, and then Tosh, and she's gone too. :(
I mean what's left really? There's Jack (I'll admit, good reason to watch Torchwood) but then there's Gwen, who, I'm sorry if you like her, just drives me crazy.

It should've been Rhys ;o; He'd also have had a motive, Gwen was pregg and he didn't want to loose the child, and to bring up a child in a world where it could eventually be a drug to some alien, enough to make to him go with Jack and try and stop it, right? ): God I wish that would've been the story... @ThatGirlYouKnow23 So do I but we all know that there was no way Ianto was going to let Jack go and face the 456 alone. Ianto was Torchwood through-an-through. He wasn't going to let a civilian go in his stead and he faced his death with dignity.

And after Two years, I have come on 25th April 2011 to listen, cry and remember Ianto for who he was because he was never a blip in time for any of us. He was never JUST the Tea-boy. He was a brave and loved character who we will miss dearly. This ballad pretty much somes him and his death up without using words because that was how is life was. We don't need to tell the story with words. you pretty much see it from his actions. He Lived, He loved and that was his life.
We love you Ianto Jones.

Ianto a toujours été mon personnage preferé. Je suis d'accord avec les autres : il devrait y avoir un troisième gant de résurrection, ou encore il devrait revenir sous forme d'esprit..... quand je l'ai vu mourir il y a deux ou trois mois j'ai pleuré. Et cette musique n'est pas pour me remonter le moral.... mais je l'aime beaucoup <3

J'ai pleuré pendant des jours et des jours quand il est mort ....Mais à la base Ianto ne devait pas mourir , RTD l'avait laissé en vie , mais ils lui ont revoyé le script en lui disant que c'était trop "Happy Ending" T_T

I really miss Ianto, he was always my favourite character. But as much as I miss him, they could never bring him back now. It would cheapen his death, and make it seem tacky. And I refuse to have my many hours of weeping made tacky.

I cried, I screamed. Ianto's death was the saddest moment of the 5 day special for me, and I refused to believe that he was dead. I never thought he would be gone, he was always there. But now he isn't. Goodbye Ianto, I will always love you.

Silly how one can get so attached to a fictional character. The human mind works in mysterious ways.
Torchwood isn't going to be the same without Ianto. Though I am grateful to Russell T. Davies for bringing us the beauty that is Torchwood, I also resent his decision for killing off my favorite character.
I keep having (false?) hope they will bring Ianto back. They promised us we'd see much more of Ianto Jones in CoE. Boy, that sure turned out to be a false promise... We want our teaboy back!

@TheJacquesmeister Characters die all the time, especially in the sci-fi genre. Move past it and enjoy the show. I can't count the number of times a character I like has died in Doctor Who, Torchwood, Battlestar Galactica, Terminator: SCC, Buffy, or other fantasy/sci-fi shows. Move on.

@RoyalGuard503 Who says I won't try to enjoy the show when the new season comes along? I'm just stating my opinion in saying that Torchwood, for me, is better with Ianto, rather than without him. Why? Because I like him. Can't blame a guy for disliking the choice made regarding his favorite character dying. I'm not saying the show is going to suck; I'm merely stating it won't be the same.
Besides, if I ever feel like I want to watch Torchwood WITH Ianto, I can just watch seasons one & two. :)

Not only was that heartless but you obviously have not shared the same love to Ianto that others, myself included have. We all felt pain when he died and yes we know it is a sci-fi television show, but it doesn't mean we can't get upset when one of the best and most loved characters dies.
