  • Beautiful rendition, if you don't like this, you have no taste for classical music.

  • If you have nothing nice to say about this performance then don't listen to it and keep your rude comments to yourself! She is playing the piece lovely.

  • SARAH CHANGS RENDITION IS MUCH BETTER, LIKE EVERYTHING SARAH CHANG PLAYS IS SUPERIOR TO ALL ! :)

  • beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeautiful violin. im so jealous

  • this guy knows the stuff - watch?v=VDeqc34osGk&feature=related

  • awfulllllllll.

  • Too bad she can't read composers instructions - beats the hell out of the work

The whole concept borders on dreadful all that sawing away not to

mention the awful orchestra . Elegance is not a word in their dictionary .

  • @dziady1 Obiously you can do better. So we're waiting to see you perform.

  • @fingalful1 = Whether I can or not is not the subject , it is how she ignores the composers' instructions and the style of the work . A lot of people like this sort of

    shlock playing.

  • @dziady1 I dont ! the only person who can play this as good as me is Sarah Chang !

  • heard as 15 y/o prodigy w/chgo s.o., Brahms viol. Comparable Henryk Szeryng. Dallas, a year later, Paganini 1. Electrifying. In the intermission, L. greeting us in lobby. We tossed verbal bouquets like lovesick teenagers. She smiled broady, happily. A flower, a sprite. 10 years later, Mendelssohn, Andy & DSO. Fashionably short hair revealing perfect lines of a perfect face. WRR interview: heaping praise on her Curtis Inst mentors. Gleeful, fearless anticipation 4 Shostak viol conc.

  • all of this, and of surpassing beauty as well. An angelic apparition amongst us but for one lifetime ... may it be as felicitous as the joy she gives her millions of fans.

  • her play is wonderful because of the spirit in it, the enthusiasm, the dancing soul

  • Damn.Best Interpretation I've ever heard,so powerful and every note is exposed.geez.

  • AHhh..this is another one of my favorites! Magnifique!

  • Magnifique, les mots me manquent.......c'est extra terrestre!

    Leila je t'aime!

  • d'une splendeur totale !

  • Absolutely, the musicdr, abolutely.

Must check her agenda when she 's back in Europe - must find a way to hear her live. Hopefully she managed to keep the Guarneri as there are not that many around. Feel free to pm me if you got special news.

And no, she's no Kogan, nobodys is .......... thks yr reply

  • This is superb! A very thoughtful and at the same time passionate performance. We have been very fortunate in having Leila as a guest at Chamber Music Northwest during previous seasons.

  • Not of the same category - another class of player, very good but in another kind of spectre. I agree, there is lot's of talent on the loose but one might have preferences ......

  • bravo

  • I am completely speechless. She is totally unknown to me - I dwell mostly in my records of Kogan, Heifetz, Francescatti, Ricce etc. but this girl is a total surprise.

Her performance is one of the best I have heard. There is an enormous power in her play. Fantastic!

  • @zzp1 There are quite a few outstanding violinists among the younger generation who are worth listening to. Janine Jansen is another.

  • @zzp1 is her playing not just wonderful one of the best contemporary solosists. you are are right great power in her playing (not as good as kogan, but still superb) but also she has great control and beauty

  • Leila is a complete musician, and this is just one example of that. Her musicianship and technique rival those of any violinist alive. That she visits the limelight only occasionally would appear to be of her own accord, look at Martha Argerich: same thing...

  • Dazzling playing. Expressive. And such incredible intonation. Just when I thought I'd already heard all the best interpretations along comes Leila. Bravo!!!

  • The singing of Leila's violin is poignant and powerful.

  • v few renditions are better

  • Leila has lots of horsepower and torque!!

  • What a beautiful girl...

  • Jeez, her Guarnerius is SO beautiful, both in aesthetics and in tonal beauty. I'm starting to regret not going to see her perform the Beethoven concerto when she was in Austin a few months ago.

  • Hi¡¡¡...is a great sound¡¡¡...very feeling¡¡¡

  • wonderful violin !!!!!!!!!I love this video

  • my all time fav violin piece - captures superbly by the amazing leila power and finesse

  • Oh my! I am the first one to enjoy this beautiful performance of music - quite unique and a great delight to listen to. It's new to me, but very attractive. Leila certainly also has the charisma. Many thanks.
