Officially, yeah, it's different. But both were/are the top division in England. They kept the promotion and relegation system the same as before, I think. The name is different, and there is more money and TV rights involved, but it is the same thing really.

Liverpool once went through a period of winning the League 10 times in 15 years. United have won the League 11 times in 17 years.

Thanks, and yeah, Chelsea have no soul and no real tradition. They've only won the League 3 times, compared to Man Utd and Liverpool 18 times.

Never heard this song before, its nice though I never heard it in relation to Liverpool given that usually most of Liverpool fan consider themself Scousers or just Liverpool fan rather than "English".
