I remember owning this record. This was a good record for the period it was released in. It was quite diverse for it's supposed genre which was R n' B. I liked how the record was like a journey through a classroom lesson about love with songs between the classroom takes. It was a nice idea. The one thing I hated was the bad bonus tracks on the UK release. Otherwise, it had a nice flow.

Yes, she made the 'choice' to define her destiny, take a certain path, etc... but going by "what is meant to be will be" we can assume that she was meant to take that path all along and all her life before that point was leading up to that.

One could look the recent flooding in the South as massive destruction and upset, or a new beginning for all who will rebuild and a chance for renewed strength in community and faith. It is possible to be aware of one's destiny and make conscience choices along the path to arriving, i.e. the word destination.
