  • jmeyer4321 Justin Hayward and Graeme Edge

  • Sounds a bit like Lavender Town!

  • Justin and Graham very powerful.

  • This is the only song in the world about standing in some dog shit!

  • check out the different dimonisions

  • arena rock, much drama, vague lyrics' typical 70s, nice and punchy ,too profound

  • Awsome bit of music :)

  • Do you know why there are no thumbs down on this song?

It is because I was stepping through a time zone to punch anyone about to hit the dislike button.

  • Nice!

  • the lyrics show the group trying to come to grips with the reality of late seventies, me generation, materialism while shadowed by the the philosophical hippie ideals of several years ago represented by "the stranger" - i can dig it.....

  • The Moody Blues No One except Pink Floyd compares definitely one of my favorite !!!!

  • THATS RIGHT! NO ONE CAN DISLIKE THE MOODY BLUES!

  • this song is Just in High Way ....I love it....

  • This song is way too good... The way it just slides from ambiance into a wall of sound is so awesome to hear starting around @1:18

  • The Moodies hit #39 in Billboard, 9-2-78. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

  • this came out early 80's

  • i listened to the moody blues when i was 5 and i will listen to them when i am 105

  • @crazycardude And every year in between!!!

  • @jwmellott i got to see them live in new orleans about 10 days ago....3 original members along with new members in the band but they sounded great!

  • i've gone thru 3 sets of vinyls, of which i still have the 3rd set stored away! fortunately i have most of their songs on my comp!!!

  • This song is IMO up there with their best work.

  • The moodies had an emotional depth few possesed!

  • How 'bout a Hall of Fame entry? They are so unique.

  • This song sounds very very dated. Its still good though : )

  • He told me where a river flows, he showed me how the apple grows... doesn't get any more Pagan than that haha!

  • i love this song. im only 13 and i enjoy the older music. this is really good stuff.

  • @roastedchipmunks I love it also. It's my favorite of The Moody Blues, and I'm 13 + 50!:-) :-D Some music is ageless, no matter how far you go back.

  • it was based on iron baby eagicularis which as we all know is a quinn martin production.

  • Every time I hear this it reminds me of "Sonic the Hedge Hog"

  • Just superb

  • Definitely a great song, what a shame you don't come across this song on the radio all that often considering this was a fairly big hit for them back in the late 1970s

  • @Doobie1975 its funny because i listen to them and i wasnt born until '89

  • @sirlloydoutcastofthe Check out J.S. Bach if you will, he was before all of us. Music has an fascinating history, like our own ancestries which led to us.:-)

  • @Doobie1975 Unfortunately this was not even a fairly big hit in 1978.....it should have been but was hardly even played.....

  • This song got a bit of airplay, much underrated!

  • @borntrippin Yes, very underrated.
