@Milenium412 Yep, it held F1 races from 1906 until 2008. It was rumored that it would return to the 2012 schedule, but it hasn't.

Check out IKF International Karting Federation and find out where they race near you then go to some races you should be able to find a kart that will suit you. You would not want to race in this class at first anyway tooo fast and too powerful for a novice. You would want like a 100cc shifter kart or just a 100cc axle clutch kart those can be had for a couple grand. Check it out I had a lot of fun and it is very thrilling. It is a close to drivng an Indy car or F1 car as you or I will ever get.

The top speeds were surprisingly low 210 kph is only 124 mph. I must be the track is tight. My Novice class enduro kart would average 105mph at Willow Springs and I have been clocked at 120 on the back straight at big Willow.

@LsnakeM Yes it really is.. i drove also a 125 cc kart on some private terrain, We created a fun race track and tried to set the best lap time, but after 5 rounds i spun so **** hard i did 4 360's and got 50 meters of the race track into the gravel but the strangest thing is, I loved to drive it, but to fly of the track with 155 km/h and bouncing into the gravel was the greatest racing experience i have ever felt in my body, it was awesome:P
