The functionality here is found in the Tecnomatix Process Simulate software. The Commisioning module is added to the system to allow automated workcells to be virtually validated and PLC logic commisioned prior to actually tools and equipment reaching the shop floor. Any PLC system outputting OPC can be integrated to the virtual simulation. PLC code, logic, e-stops, sequencing can all be validated and tested reducing the effort & cost spent late in the process.
